First time at The Dive and I really enjoyed myself. I was there to meet a friend and we shared the pickle pizza and mushroom pizza. Both were very delicious. I love the way the crust was made as well. I’m not much of a drinker (anymore!) but did indulge in the Colts Neck. Just a tad strong for me but I did love the way it tasted. All the flavors paired well together. I really like this place and recommend it to anyone and everyone. Only downside for me were the tall stools. Not that comfortable. There are chairs but they were all occupied. However, the pizza is worth sitting on a stool!

I love the vibe of this place! It’s eclectic, yet cozy and there are even board games to play if you like! I love the vintage glasses for water and the ice cream. Our servers were super friendly and great at making recommendations. The pork rinds were fluffy yet crunchy, but very salty. However, the fries and both pizzas were delicious! The ice cream twist was surprisingly delicious, better than some ice cream shops! Great for a solo date with yourself or meeting friends.

With that said, the Friday Night Special Pizza with bacon, mushrooms and pesto sauce and balsamic drizzle was absolutely fabulous! Top 3 pizzas of all time.
The peperoni was a’rite. Especially since the special was soo amazing.

Went for the first time last night and it was sooooo good! We went all out for casual date night and got several cocktails (our favorite was the chai frozen special) popper dip, wings, and shared a pizza. My husband loved the dip, the wings were amaaaaaaazing and we ordered more to go, along with another pizza haha The server gave us very honest and accurate recommendations, and other bartenders (and maybe a manager?) dropped by to make sure we had everything we needed, so service was top notch. Would definitely go back again, especially for the buffalo parm wings and chai cocktail!

Atmosphere is awesome. Staff has always been friendly and attentive. Food is usually very good. Some things are hit or miss. But man, the prices have gotten out of control. Don’t check their website for the menu. There has been 3 separate times where I’ve looked at the menu online and found the prices on the menu in the restaurant are between 15% and 20% higher…. and that’s not just me checking the same prices over and over. It’s gone up at that rate multiple times. Seriously, if you’re reading this on the day I’m posting this review, check for yourself. When this place opened a few years ago, it was a reasonable neighborhood hangout. Everything you could want. Grab a 12 inch pepperoni pizza for like $13 or a smash burger for $11.99. Now… $19 for a smash burger and $21 for a 12 inch pepperoni pizza. For a place called The Dive, their prices are more reflective of some artisanal kitchen or fancy restaurant. I get it. Inflation has gone up about 15% across the country since this place opened. But at The Dive…. like 80% in the past 3 years? Nuts. Which I wouldn’t mind if my salary went up 80%. But well…..

So, I went to this restaurant Friday night, and it was a 3.5 out of 5 for me. It’s not a full 4, but definitely not a 3, either. But I can’t do half ratings, unfortunately.
We just walked in and grabbed a table, and the server came over right away with menus and these really cool glasses of water. They had these restaurant week specials going on, and we saw the pizza on the table next to us and knew we had to split one. No way would we be able to finish a whole pizza each, get apps, and get dessert.
We got the summer special Corny pizza and the fried pickles to share. Sadly, whilst everything was super hot and fresh, it was way too salty. The pickles were so salty, they almost killed my taste buds. And the pizza was pretty salty, too, in my opinion. The corn, old bay, scallions, and gojuchang combo didn’t really work for me either.
But the service was good, and the place looked really cool inside. I might go back someday and try one of their regular pizzas.

I had this place saved on my list for a while, but unfortunately it was a huge letdown. The pizza was completely soggy in the middle and each slice crumbled like a tissue paper. We asked if we could add chicken to the pizza and it was not tasty as all. The drinks were also very average. It’s a cute location but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Dive will wow you with its outstanding decor, service, and food! We walked in during the middle of a trivia game on a weekend night. We found the 40-year old vintage McDonald’s glasses amazing! The working glitter ball in the dining room made us want to dance.
We arrived to a full restaurant; however, Jordan and the rest of the staff gave us flawless service from start to finish.
I enjoyed my white pizza. Generally I don’t eat the crust. However, I nearly finished the freshly-baked crust on this pizza. My friends relished their Dorito pizza and cheesesteak sub. My friend commented that the cheesesteak was the best he had ever eaten.
My only qualm was that the staff almost seemed to get pushy with upselling the food. However, they almost treat you like family here. This is a place to return to again and again!

Easy to love this place! Great atmosphere, nice service, and really good food and drinks. Tried their wings, burgers, fish sandwich, fried pickles and cocktails. Recommend all! Great happy hour deals as well. Definitely worth stopping by.

Best choice was the smash burger. Consistently good. Fries were undercooked and wings over sauced. This particular experience atypical as they are usually spot on in every respect. Everyone deserves an off night. We will definitely be returning for another meal soon.
