The bread had soaked up much of the juice but it was not soggy. The outside was toasted and warm and crisp. The bread did not fall apart. The steak, cheese, and veggies were all delicious and perfectly cooked. The tater tots were decent, slightly overdone. I will be having Woody’s again. That was an excellent cheesesteak. Great size of sandwich as well

I was not told that the toppings (onions, peppers, and mushrooms you know, what you usually assume is on a Philly) were extra until the sandwich was being made. Sandwich was bland with no seasoning, cheese wasn’t melted, bun wasn’t toasted, they forgot the mushrooms that I had paid extra for, and doesn’t come with sides. Sides are $2 extra for 2 Hawaiian bun sized Philly that cost $14. I read reviews and saw pictures of what looked pretty good but was let down by reality.

This was my first time eating here with my girlfriend we got it to go so we didn’t stay inside for long. It’s a small place but has nice charm to it. I got the Philly cheese steak with some fries and she got the chicken steak with some onion rings. My Philly cheese steak had some good flavor wasn’t overcooked wasn’t dry or tough. I got tomatoes and lettuce it was fresh the fries were good not overly salted and it came with a lot. The onion rings were good as well they had a good outside crisp and good flavor. Like I said the place is small and has a chill vibe if you want to go here and eat with a friend or something be perfect.

It’s a good sign when a place focuses on cheesesteaks (though they had other sandwich options too).
My cheesesteak was great, nailed the bread, cooked to order and I also got half and half fries and onion rings were great.
The staff was friendly and my food came out hot in short order. The only thing, which is nit picking, is they had off brand ketchup, it’s hard to beat Heinz with my onion rings.

Small hole in the wall sandwich shop with a unique charm that reminded me of the Hoagie shops of the 80s and 90s. Excellent service, fresh ingredients done right. I ordered the Philly with everything on it, sandwich was proportioned well, pepper relish was amazing and just the right amount of spice. My wife ordered a burger which was also very good. We will be back for sure!

Got the cheesesteak with everything on it. Wasn’t really impressed. Sure it was cooked “fresh”, meat bland, and pretty dry, bread was kinda tough, could have been loaded up a lot more. Frozen fries were okay. For $15 not worth it. Very sorry.

Love it! Great cheesesteaks and Italian sub sandwiches. The onion rings and fries are nice and crispy like I want them. Service with a smile. Don’t miss this place if you are in the area. We will be back next time we are in town.

Cheese steak was perfectly cooked with fresh, soft roll, tender meat, and nice amount of peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I’d love to see an option of having tangy sweet tomato sauce to add on but otherwise delicious. We will be back for our cheese steak fix!

Very disappointed. I pass this place every day on the way home from work and, especially because of the good reviews, was really looking forward to an excellent Philly. What I got though was overly dry steak, no discernible grilled onion, and maybe three slivers of mushrooms and peppers that I had to pay extra for. There was too much bread for the amount of meat provided and the fries felt slightly soggy. Perhaps just a bad day for them?
