Pretty good local Chinese food in concord! They give you a lot of crab rangoons which was a major plus. Service has always been very fast and we only recieved a wrong item once. We got the general tsao’s chicken, veggy lo mein, crab rags, and scallion pancakes. They give a large quantity of food and the price is pretty on par with everyone else. Sometimes not always the best flavor or freshest or they leave out a sauce, but pretty consistent on the usual.

Best Chinese food in Concord! Fast service, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and always delicious! I know I should leave a fake 1-star review like others have so they aren’t as busy, but if you’re checking reviews here, it’s because you aren’t already a regular! 😉

Food wasn’t amazing, you really need a sauce to make it taste good, but to each their own. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined by the fact that this place tried to write in their own tip. Normally I am a good tipper at restaurants, I just don’t typically tip for To Go orders since all they really do is hand you the food. Well I will definitely be paying more attention in the future and making sure I write in my desired tip because his place felt the need to give themselves a 30% tip; mind you, this was on top of an already $32 dollar order which is extremely sketchy. Maybe they were a little upset about the lack of tipping, but that’s no reason to do something like that. Heck, I probably wouldn’t have even noticed if the tip was in the 15-18% range, but 30%? We went back to have it fixed which they did (mostly). However they still charged us $1 dollar more than what the original order was… Anyway, just wanted to put this out there for others.

Decided to cut off orders @ 3:30 pm. “Try 8 o’clock!” In my entire life I have never heard of a Take out restaurant refusing orders. This is NH. Not NYC. I have to rethink my patronage at this place. Not good.

I’m eating it now. Their hot and sour soup, their crab rangoons, their egg rolls… Devine! There’s a lot of great Chinese restaurants in this city, but this is absolutely my favorite. Much love!

This is the first time ordering food from this place, we were vary happy with it. we had PU Pu platter for three ,and pork fried rice and chicken lo Mein , There is three of us and enough food for two more dinners after this one, We have tried other places in Concord and nothing was that good. This place reminds us of the old Hawaiian Isle, that was on Hall st. We will be going back again.

There is no “dine-in” option at this restaurant, so “atmosphere” is an illegible category. The food is literally the best Chinese in Concord, and never more than 25 minutes from your order! Their combos are unparalleled in flavor and value, and complimented brilliantly by the homemade duck sauce and hot mustard! The service is always pleasant, and the prices are more than reasonable. You won’t regret this place!

We havent been to the Dragon Star for a while but we wont be going back. Ragoons were bland and had an after taste (rancid oil?); happy family had somerthing that tasted moldy in both my and hubby’s servings. I dont know if we’ll even try the other itemsor just throw them away.

I had a few minutes and had been craving fried rice for about two weeks so i stopped in for a quick order of house fried rice to go, I was the only customer there sitting my order but getting the pint of rice took about 15 minutes then when I get home and open it up i was immediately able to discern that they were out of fried rice at the moment and in a hasty corner cutting move to fill my order they decided to take white rice and mix it with the meat and vegetable fillings of house rice and put it in a container and send me on my way.
I am completely beside myself with what just happened, and disgusted with the manor they were willing to let their food be presented to a customer, and laughed when I saw that on their website they claimed “Dragon Star features authentic Chinese food to take out, our cooks are masters in the art of preparing the finest quality Szechuan, Hunan and Cantonese dishes.”
