Great Chinese cuisine with big portions. All comes with either steamed rice or fried rice. The special comes with your choice of soup. The service is amazing! She’s fast and so are the chefs. If you’re at Seaside, the place is a must.

Overall, we enjoyed all of our dishes at the New Garden Asian Cuisine in Seaside. We started with the Hot and Sour Soup- which was very delicious and moved on to the Eggplant with Hot Garlic dish and Cashew Chicken. Both dishes were quite good. My dining partner, in particular, was very impressed with the Eggplant dish which had just the right amount of heat and spices to still allow the great vegetable to shine. The Jasmine tea was lovely and a nice compliment to the meal. Prices are fairly reasonable (for a tourist season). Our fortunes from the fortune cookies given at the end of the meal gave us “food for thought”.

This is the best Chinese food in Clatsop County. The portions are huge, the flavors are excellent and service is fast. One thing to note is that its location is inside the Carousel Mall so it can be a little noisy as it’s not a standalone restaurant, but do no let that deter you from this amazing food.

We came here for a birthday lunch celebration while visiting the Oregon Coast. The food and service were both fantastic! The restaurant is inside a little mall with an arcade, candy store, and indoor carousel. The portions were huge- we ordered the crab puff appetizer, the tofu and eggplant, and the fried calamari. We have enough leftovers for at least 2 more meals — if you are visiting and don’t want leftovers 2 people could easily split one entree.

Overall, we felt that while most of the flavors were good, ingredient quality needs to improve.
Recommendations
– crispy chicken in hot garlic sauce: perfectly fried, and the flavors were excellent
– shrimp tempura: perfectly executed
– spring rolls
– bento boxes will let you try out multiple dishes
Other Dishes
– kung pao chicken had the right ingredients but needed more flavor
– sweet & sour chicken: the sauce needs to be much better.
Portions were quite large.
Service was quick and with a non-nonsense attitude, which we took in stride.

Food was great when I asked about gluten free options the was lots of them. I find that to be very helpful. Absolutely delicious shared with my husband and we still took some home.

Great Chinese restaurant in Seaside with authentic and flavorful food!
Best part is that there are so many options you are guaranteed to find something that fits your tastes and diet (including vegetarian options)!
Food comes out fast, portions are large, and value is really good as a result given how flavorfully fresh and delicious the food is!

Medium heat was surprisingly hot! This is so unusual in the Pacific Northwest, where anything more than ketchup or mayo is often considered ‘spicy’. Incredibly clean and airy space, colocated with the adjacent vintage carousel. This is a hidden gem and offers some of the best value for your dining dollar in the heart of tourist-oriented Seaside. Recommend dining in and getting something off of the ‘daily specials’ sheet. These items run +/-$15 for a healthy portion of an entree, a cup of soup, steamed or fried rice, a fried spring roll, and a couple of pot stickers. Great portions and flavor for your money!

Fabulous Chinese food in simple restaurant with good range of vegan options. The portion sizes are enormous! We only managed half and took the rest away. Best vegan food we’ve had during our stay in Oregon coast. Aubergine in chilli sauce, Kung Pao tofu and mixed vegetables all very tasty.
