There is not much positive to say about this place. The staff don’t engage newcomers to their restaurant. I was simply met with “what do you want?”

The banh mi sandwhich was served with cold pork on a tiny, cold bun. Given the price, the portion size seems a bit small, especially since the sandwhich consists of almost entirely raw vegetables.

The spring rolls are also entirely raw vegetables inside a very gummy spring roll wrapper. Not to mention there’s almost no seasoning on any of the food besides the cold(grilled) pork, and even that was sorely disappointing.

The vermicelli noodle bowl was equally disappointing. Over 50% of the bowl was just raw undressed lettuce. They give you a tiny cup of chili sauce to poor over but it’s too small to impart any real flavor. Also luke-warm pork again for this dish.

Overall I would skip this place. If you’re looking for authentic bold Vietnamese flavors and dining you won’t find that here.

Have been coming to this place weekly since it opened for the most part and it’s become my favorite place to eat, easily. Excellent food, excellent service. Stopped by today and had an amazing bowl of Pho and even got to have some bone marrow in it and it was incredible!

Great quality, fresh veggies that crunch, and service that really cares, Hello Vietnam is a perfect balance. Flavors are homemade in house for example the broth, according to the owner James, is made from scratch. You can tell. Everything is dynamic and yet comforting. We always feel good after eating this food. And James and the team customize for a few of our family’s dietary restrictions. He truly cares. And what a hard worker. This family owned business deserves your patronage. We will keep coming back. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Yum!

Favorites: Vermicelli, Bahn Mi, Pho, spring rolls and that homemade peanut sauce. Chefs kiss.

After Quinn, the front desk, young lady greeted me with a smile. My next good indication was the authentic Vietnamese menu. Create Vietnamese beef stew was. Very good and Kim recommended. They also frequently sell out so if you see it, eat it great place highly recommend.

Came here with my son for lunch and we were not disappointed! I live in Los Angeles and have high expectations for pho, I absolutely loved our dishes and since it was not very busy we were easily able to talk and hear each other, the atmosphere is cozy and the service was polite and prompt, especially for fresh hot food that was made so quickly! My son really liked his roll as well!

Don’t skip this place if you are around. Simply decorated, the restaurant offers excellent food and friendly staff. Upon entering, I couldn’t decide between the pho and the bun mi. Lucky enough to, they had a combination option that allowed me to enjoy both worlds:). The pho was flavorful and the bun mi (roast pork with some jalapeño) was fantastic. The bun is not as large as other places may offer, so the food does not feel too heavy, but it is crispy and yummy. Recommended!

We stopped here while roadtripping back to DC and ordered the tofu bahn mi, the grilled pork bahn mi, and the veggie spring rolls and they were all delicious!!!! We love finding “off-the-highway,” local places to eat while we’re road tripping and this was worth the few mile drive off the interstate. We’ll be back for the pho and vermicelli next time we’re passing through, for sure!

First time ever trying Vietnamese food, had the Shrimp Pho which was excellent. They take your order and bring it to your table after it is prepared. Service was super friendly and even came by my table to ask how it was. For seating there is a small family-sized table and five 2-tops, along with plenty of seating at the window counter. Highly recommended!

I have had Vietnamese food in a lot of places but this place might just be my favorite. Everything is just so fresh and delicious. The Bahn Mi are incredible, excellent bread and generously stuffed. Soup is also wonderful, especially the beef stew which has a very unique flavor and super tender beef chunks. Oh, and the veggie rolls! Definitely get the veggie rolls! Highly recommend this restaurant.
