I usually enjoy these skewers from a street-corner cart, but during our team meeting I was invited to try Chili Tavern BBQ. The place is quite tight and narrow, so it’s not ideal for large groups. The skewers are seasoned well, and if you want an extra kick, they provide a bottle of chili powder at the table. Service was just okay. Overall, it’s a decent spot for skewers if you don’t mind the cramped space and pricey skewers.

I’ve been here several times! It’s absolutely delicious (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑), and I love the service and food. My favorites are the chicken skewers, the mullet fillet with tofu, and the new weird-flavored chicken nuggets!

I highly recommend Xiaoye BBQ! The environment is clean and comfortable, with a great atmosphere, perfect for a meal with friends. The waiters are incredibly friendly and the food arrives quickly. Every dish is delicious—the skewers are fragrant and perfectly seasoned, especially the grilled ox tongue and chicken cartilage. Highly recommended! The prices are also very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!

Xiaoye has new grilled fish again! I tried it on a whim, and it’s really delicious! A godsend for Sichuan and Chongqing people! I love it!
