The description online suggested that the dining room was focused on feeding people, not winning awards. I agree.
My server, Pan, was faultlessly friendly and speedy. Food was lightning quick with a couple of extras thrown in. I got the pork egg foo yung dinner which included soup, egg roll, fried chicken drumstick, fried dumpling and the entree. All were tasty and plentiful.
I’ve been looking for a Chinese restaurant that offers sit down service, friendly staff and good food. I think I’ve found it.

My Girlfriend and I recently were in the mood for Chinese food, and decided to try Peking. What a fantastic choice we made. I got a dinner order of Sesame Chicken, and it came with Rice, Veggies, and an egg roll all for $12. What a bargain! My Girlfriend got an order of the Chicken Lo Mein, and that was quite tasty too! We finished off our order with some sushi, which was very fresh! I let my girlfriend eat it though because I don’t like spice too much. Our server was so kind, and always had a big smile on her face! Finally, the restaurant was really quiet, but I found that to be a good thing as my girlfriend and I were able to relax and talk to each other without having to yell. If you are in the mood for Chinese, I highly recommend! And I hear they have a $12 lunch buffet Will definitely be back soon!

I won’t say I am a professional or a connoisseur, but I know good quality Chinese food, and Peking has it in spades. I’ve been there a number of times now and have enjoyed every single dish I’ve ordered. As a rule I always start with a bowl of Hot and Sour soup, my personal favorite. As an appetizer I always order Pot Stickers. These are my first two indicators to the quality of the restaurant. Both the soup and the Pot Stickers are Very well made! Both are full of flavor and the Pot Stickers are made perfectly, not just steamed or fried. Personally I prefer a bit more spice so I add pepper to my soup, and just a tiny bit of soy sauce to lift it to transcendent. I’ve had too many dishes to list them all but I will say that I have never received any dish that wasn’t made with excellence in mind. They do not cater to the sweet American palate as much as every other restaurant I’ve been to around here, and that is why Peking will always have my loyalty. If you are going to go out to enjoy another cultures cuisine don’t you think that authenticity should be a high priority?

The greatest restaurant I have ever been to. I’ve been to so many restaurants in my time but when it comes too a soothing environment and food filled with love nowhere will ever top here. 100% recommend to anyone that loves Asian cuisine

First timer here and I will definitely be going back. The restaurant was clean. The food taste great and fresh. The price for lunch is unbeatable and the full menu was affordable as well. The homemade sweet n sour sauce was awesome as well as the Mongolian beef, general saos chicken (have to ask for spicy), fried rice and egg rolls. If I’m in Ashland I am going to consider going back soon!

I have to admit, I was hesitant to go here. The outside of the building is kind of off-putting. But after our local shop hop the kids request to go here. Inside is super cute! Everything was clean. The waitress was very prompt and friendly. Prices are more than reasonable. And the food was actually really good! I am sad that we haven’t gone here sooner! We will definitely be back again soon!

First time eating here, it was bad. The crab Rangoon was sweet and no filling, there was what looked and tasted like icing on the rangoon. The orange chicken was sweet and the rice was soggy . The chicken was cooked perfect wasn’t dry. The Tos chicken was not spicy and bland but the chicken was cooked perfect. The wonton soup was the best thing we ordered.

Customer service was great. Cute little place. General tso okay, more like sweet and sour chicken. Unique taste. Good price. Spare ribs are really good.

The general tso chicken has very little flavor, the fried rice doesn’t taste like any fried rice I’ve ever gotten from a Chinese restaurant. The egg rolls are good but very small and cost the same as an egg roll that’s probably 3x it’s size where we normally order from. Place and picking up a to go order through the door off the side alley is sketchy and that door literally enters into the kitchen–why would you want customers walking into your kitchen to pick up food. I wasn’t impressed at all. We will not eat here again.

Worst experience ever. I’ve never had a problem from this restaurant until tonight. My egg rolls are straight mush, I ordered 2 orders of egg fried rice and pretty sure I was charged for both and only got 1. My favorite Chinese place is now ruined. I get that it was 7 at night but seriously my egg rolls aren’t supposed to be mush.
