Every now & again I treat myself here. Tonight, without exception, it was phenomenal. I had Ribeye and Walleye. Beef cooked to perfection and very tender as well as flavorful; walleye was delightful. Staff returned to check on my evening meal no less than 4 times and was pleasant. This is exactly why I mentioned “ I treat myself”. Once again… Bravo to Zen’s! Honestly for the service, price and quality, you just cannot go wrong here. Fergus gem!!

What a gem! Tremendous steaks and my walleye was cooked to perfection. Raspberry cake was delicious, and the seafood chowder was east coast quality (very good). Wish I lived closer. Don’t skip this local treasure!

Everything was amazing! The food is delicious and Daniela was extremely nice and great to talk too! We had the Walleye cakes as an app. The sauce was a perfect match. My lobster Mac and cheese was a hit and I will be back soon to try out the desserts!

Cozy setting, delicious menu options, & inviting atmosphere. It was hard to decide on what to order as everything looked fabulous. Our server was helpful and friendly – even boxed my take-home portions! I ordered the Stuffed Shrimp as an app & Lobster Mac & Cheese – SO GOOD! Go here for a new lunch option in your life or impress your love on date night. Definitely worth your time here!

Enjoyed a delicious meal here! Our server was very friendly and the food was great – especially enjoyed my steak and lobster. And the torinados and stuffed shrimp appetizers were to die for! We look forward to returning soon!

We started with the appetizer, Torinados Mozart and they did not disappoint. Seared to a perfect medium rare and topped with a great cab reduction. Main courses were prime rib for me and surf and turf with the sirloin (with gorgonzola) and bacon wrapped scallops for my wife. Both were cooked incredibly to request and the gorgonzola made the sirloin mouth watering with flavor. Prime Rib has the option for horseradish cream, if you like a little kick, and it did not let me down! I went with the sweet potato as my side and was pleasantly surprised by the hint of sweet added and the buttery rich flavor that came out of it. Those pop overs were light, warm, and topped with this sweet honey butter that reminds you of grandma ! Dessert was brought to you by bourbon chocolate lava cake and i did the strawberry cheesecake. I’m not a chocolate person, but the cake is reminiscent of a moist brownie from mom’s kitchen and was topped with vanilla bean ice cream. The cheesecake was made in house with a savory graham cracker crust and the cheesecake itself was not too dense and full of flavor. Enjoy your meals with a great wine selection that doesn’t break the bank or a great cocktail made by bartender Jeremy. He was very attentive to the cocktail and was open to suggestions on improvements: they care about the customer input and it shows. It’s nice to have a great place like this I’m the Fergus area and they have a great future here as long as it’s appreciated by all! Well done!

We dined at Zens during their soft opening and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience! From an appetizer of stuffed shrimp, to the dinner salad, delicious popovers with honey butter, prime rib, bacon wrapped scallops, desert, and cocktails, everything was wonderfully prepared! If you’re looking for fine dining, look no further than Zens’ Steak and Seafood!

Went at 4:30 on. Friday and were the only patrons. You’d think that for the cost of a ribeye steak, it could’ve been booked correctly. Ordered it medium rare, and it came out raw and cold in the center. The baked potato was also undercooked. Was offered dessert for the fact both my husband and I needed to have our steaks cooked longer, when they should’ve offered a discount on the meal. Very disappointed as I had really raved about this place to my husband, but it didn’t live up to previous visits. Highly doubtful I’ll be back.
