Friendly service and such a comforting meal after a long day of digging out from what felt like the biggest snowstorm of the century. That kind of care really matters.
The portion size is small given the price. I ordered a large pho and the amount of noodles would be compared to a small at any other pho place. I ordered a large to share with my toddler and was a bit disappointed with the portion given the price. The vermicelli was also pretty small for the price and my husband was still hungry after he ate it. He did appreciate the grilled meat and it was very tasty. The fresh rolls were good but there should be more dip, we scraped it all up and could’ve used maybe a spoon more (it was well made, thanks).
Honestly the food was delicious but given the price and portion, it should definitely be on par to be competitive with other pho places. More noodles for sure. Overall if we were in the area and needed a fix, we would come back. Parking would be in the residential area – or if you manage to get road parking (rare) and you’d still have to walk a bit.
They do provide a toddler high chair and service is fast.
Me and my partner ordered Pho Tai Bo Vien (rare beef and beef balls) and two ice coffee!
Pho, was absolutely fantastic. Soup tasted delicious. Portion size for a regular is good amount.
Coffee was nice, and not too sweet like most places.
Interior is a nice, and small but very cozy.
My overall experience here: 4.5/5 starts! But they deserve 5 stars
The restaurant is clean, the owners are friendly, and the service was great. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu.
I have since ordered take out and the take out was disappointing as it was missing things that you would receive in the restaurant – for example, the herbs to go with the noodle soup. I likely wouldn’t do take out again, I would prefer to eat at the restaurant.
The restaurant is nice but doesn’t have a lot of tables so if you come at a prime time, you may need to wait for a while. It mostly has tables for groups of 4.
Chicken pho and vermicelli were very good – we’re looking forward to coming back soon.
