Amazing. The service, the food, & the family. Every detail is thought through and they have a beautiful balance of creativity with traditional cooking methods. They have recently begun doing breakfast on the weekend as well. We tried both savory and sweet, both delicious hits!!!

This is a great option when you visit Punta Mita. There are so many fancy places in Punta Mita, but Tacos & Papas is a more casual option with great food and service. We loved the tacos, the papas, and the ice cream (which was out of this world). Thanks so much to the staff (Juan Pablo, Christian, Fernando, and Ricardo – El Jefe) for a great night.

Four adults and 4 kids under 4 went for dinner tonight. Our waiter Fernando was absolutely amazing. He got food orders going right away for the young kids. The food was great, the service was fantastic. I don’t leave many reviews, but felt the need to leave one because Fernando was so attentive and accommodating. We had tacos and papas and churros and ice cream; enjoyed all of it! Loved the atmosphere too!

The food here is delicious! Especially the spicy salsa. We wanted a jar of it to take home!! The potato dishes are simple but creamy and scrumptious. We also got the cheddar stuffed chilies which were great. They have some vegetarian options too.

The food here was exceptional. The meat was lean and tender. The cheese crisps tacos were delicious. The atmosphere is inviting. We were greeted by Fernando. He was a fantastic waiter and was so kind, friendly, and gave great recommendations on food. We will be going back to eat there before we leave. It’s helpful to get a reservation. Don’t miss this restaurant!

The food here was delicious, we came back twice during our time here. Someone in our family has a gluten allergy and they offer several alternatives since their corn tortillas are not gluten free. The cheese crisp appetizers are delicious and really great churros too.

Fabulous place for inspiring tacos, tostidos, and quesadilla. We sampled several of the offerings and all were delicious. (We did not get to the stuffed papas though) The chicken and vegetables were delicious, but our favs were the beef and the Conchita pibal! Great unpretentious ambience and thankful owners. Highly recommend for the best tacos in Punta de Mita. Fair prices and amazing deserts.

Really great tucked away gem. Family run restaurant, Juan-Pablo served us and made great recommendations, in particular the cochonita tacos with cheese and pickled onions on flour tortillas.
Outstanding margaritas, we had a classic and the jalapeño margarita, really nice flavour of the peppers and just enough heat on the finish.
