I will start this by saying i love the doughnuts here and that’s why I keep going back. But the service I received in there the last 2 times I have been in has been awful. Was a young blonde girl and she was incredibly rude. She acted as if I was an inconvenience and had a bad attitude while cashing me out today. I told a few people about this and they have had the same experience. We love to support local, but please fix this.

What an absolutely delightful place. I was grabbing coffee this morning in downtown Sparta and the locals recommended this place for donuts and pastries to bring to my daughter’s competition nearby. They have fresh-baked everything and local honey. But the best part, besides the friendly service, is the prices. I love it!

Ordered a Cake for a Birthday, ordered for 15 people, they stated this was a 12 person cake. Fine, but it was also lop sided! I complained and the bakery manager was not forgiving or all about customer care. LAST time I order from Tom’s Bakery.

What’s not to love about your hometown bakery? The breads are crusty and perfect in texture, their cakes are moist and decorated to request, and their doughnuts and pastries are just the right combo of flaky, richness, sweetness and density. They have several small tables set up for coffee and gossip. I would recommen their mini cakes, pillows, fritters, 7 grain bread…oh just get anything, you will be happy.

My daughter and I went in this morning to get donuts for my employees. I bought 2 dozen. As I was finishing up paying my 9 year old thought she would be helpful and grabbed the boxes to carry them. Unfortunately did she not grab the bottom of the bottom box and the entire box fell all over the floor. The young lady who cashed me out instantly put together a dozen donuts to replace what my daughter dropped. I offered to pay for that extra box but the worker said absolutely not, she could tell my daughter was extremely upset. Great customer service!!!!!!

We stopped on a whim today after having driven by many times…. And oh my! I can’t tell you how I regret those drive bys!! The aroma entering the door was incredible! We were greeted before the door could shut by several employees. The service was amazing and could only be outdone by the baked goods and preserves! And the prices were incredibly reasonable! This small town bakery delivers and delivers BIG!
I hope you liked us as much as we like you because you will be seeing us a lot! You can get baked goods at a grocery store but they aren’t anywhere near as delicious as these!! 5 star bakery on all levels. Thank you for your delicious efforts on our behalf!
