Our coffee is made with locally roasted, organic coffee beans, and we offer a full range of specialty coffee drinks – hot or cold. We are part of a thrift shop and fair trade gift shop, so you can shop while your food and drinks are being prepared. And proceeds benefit local and global relief, development, and peacemaking projects of Mennonite Central Committee. So every purchase is a gift to the world.

It was Sunflower Day in Mt. Lake, so we stopped by Sweet Fields and had drinks and sunflower brittle.
I had a strawberry Italian Cream Soda. The server asked how sweet I wanted, and customized it to my liking. Reasonable pricing, excellent customer service.
Love the decor of the place, mismatched chairs, tables, and homage to the Sunflower Seeds history of Mt. Lake. There was a sunflower seed dispenser outside the entrance. I love how it’s connected to the Care and Share/Ten Thousand Villages store, too. So, you can look around while you wait for your drink/food.
Definitely will go back. Love the offerings my hometown has for people–who live there and who are stopping by for a visit.

This quaint coffee shop and thrift store is a fun stop in Mountain Lake. There are always homemade pastries and food options along with freshly brewed coffee. The thrift store portion has a wide variety of clothes, kitchen items, toys/games, furniture and much more.
