Ok. I lied about the atmosphere. The dining area is fairly boring and utilitarian but I didn’t want to lower their rating because the food is actually really good. I don’t even really like Chinese food and think this is a great restaurant. Everything seems fresh, well prepared and fairly inexpensive when you consider a serving can make two meals. We’re really lucky to have this little gem in Scottsville!

The food is quite delicious. The prices are a bit steep. It would be nice if they would turn on some heat for people trying to eat inside the restaurant. But overall, we always enjoy stopping there on our way back from UVA. The server / cook/owner…. I’m not sure what her role is, is always exceptionally polite and professional

How can you not make combination rice? The picture showed a beautiful dark rice and I got something that looked like a dry white jasmine rice with chunks of old chicken. It and my eggroll for $15 were nasty and rancid tasting. Nothing tasted fresh. That’s the price you pay in a small town. Overpriced and horrible—won’t be going back.

Absolutely horrendous. We haven’t ordered here in awhile but usually it’s not great but ok Chinese. We spent $70 on food tonight. My husband literally had three lettuce leafs and 2 carrots in his “salad in a cup”. He had more dressing than salad. My $8 fried wontons were fried dough with NO meat in them see the pics. My kids meal was the best part which was the least expensive and even with the soggy fries was the best part of this meal. I will NEVER order from this place again. I get it times are tough but u are losing patrons. I rather drive 25 mins to chimms Thai pay a little less and get much better quality and portioned food. Do NOT WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY. SO very upset.

This place is great. I always order to go, but the one time I ordered to dine in with my child they were super nice. Very direct service and the food was ready within a respectable amount of time. I order here nearly once a week. Absolute staple of the community.

Great Chinese food. Hit the spot. Order was ready 20 minutes after ordering. It’s not the best Chinese I’ve had, but it’s solid. Reasonably priced. Only annoying thing was when you order crab Rangoon, they still charge you extra for the dipping sauce

This restaurant is a nice find on the main street of Scottsville. While not directly on the menu, the staff was happy to accommodate our vegetarian request for General Tso’s tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce. Very well seasoned with plenty of sauce for the rice. The overall menu was pretty typical for a smaller mainly take out style Chinese restaurant. The food was certainly sit down quality and very nice service even through the plexiglass that’s seems to be the unfortunate norm these days. Give them a try, we will definitely be going back again!

Ordered 3 “SOFT” sweet and sour chicken. Received only ONE and it’s so rock hard my son couldn’t eat it! Ordered the dinner special for Monday. Didn’t get my egg roll or drink. Called them and told them about all the issues and they guy said he could call the lady that took the order or I could buy more and come pick it up. What is calling her going to accomplish? Of course I need to feed the rest of the kids! The lady I ordered from repeated the order back and they still messed it all up!!! Next time I’ll just go to town or palmyra

Sesame chicken comes with more breading than chicken. I received multiple pieces of “chicken” that were literally 1.5″ diameter balls of 100% breading. Maybe they ran out of chicken today, that’s the only explanation I can come up with. The flavor was honestly OK, so it gets a bonus star for that.
