The drinks are outstanding, especially the Dirty Little Martini, which is a must-try. The sushi was just as impressive — the Drunken Tiger Roll was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly balanced.
Highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back.
You DO NOT get what’s represented on the menu. For example, I ordered the A5 Wagyu Beef roll and they gave me a roll with beef tartare on top. They claimed it was cooked because they lightly torched the top. I sent it back and told them to take it off completely because it looked disgusting and was not worth $20. Plus, the shrimp tempura came out slightly cold and the ponzu sauce with it was soy sauce not ponzu. In addition, the seared tuna on the salad was two different colors. It looked almost half cooked, half raw, and it tasted like they made it the day before and heated it up in the microwave. The salmon signature nigiri came out with no truffle oil or caviar on it. We had to send it back twice until they finally got it right.
On top of it, we were there for nearly 2 hours and it was just the two of us. No one else was in the restaurant at the time except for one other couple with their baby. Plus, the bartender was our waitress even though they had enough staff.
Although to top it off, we had to ask for the manager. The manager never came over to apologize and they never took off the sushi of our bill until we asked them to remove it. The manager finally apologized in the end, but they blamed it on having a catering order. Smh shame on them.
Lastly, please reference the photo I’m attaching that says happy November in the front of their restaurant lol we went there for our New Year’s Eve dinner.
