I had seen this place for a long time but never thought anything good would come out of that location. After readying the reviews I decided to give it a try. Ordered delivery because it’s not an easy location to get out of unless your going in one direction. Food was very good. I believe all the good reviews were correct on this one. Ordered a week later and same results. They won my business.

The food here is amazing!!!! I love their !!! Hands down the best sushi I have had from any places where you can order food for delivery!!! The reason why I took one star away is because if you order their dinners the portions are very very very small!!! Their portions are not like the typical Japanese restaurant and the dinners are at least $13.00 but the sushi is the same portion and same price!!! But the dinner is good so it kind of make me mad but I just can’t pay that amount for it wish they gave you more for your money on the dinners but other than that love it….very clean

Great lunch spot for a quick and easy grab. Fresh sushi and hot hibachi. The restaurant itself was a little on the warmer side. It is smaller so not condusive to larger groups but very friendly service. Will be back!! ( Pictured is dinner portion of shrimp hibachi and summer and monkey sushi rolls. )

The food was awesome. I past by this place all the time and never knew it was there. The inside is small but the people make you feel welcomed and very comfortable. They also deliver which means you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home to eat good.

It’s in an odd location and I don’t recommend getting a window seat. But what makes this place so spectacular is the food and the wonderful service. I had an awesome Hibachi dinner plate with N.Y. steak and Salmon and was thoroughly impressed. My girlfriend got a lo mein special and the amount of food she got for $10 blew my mind. Takara is a hidden gem and a wonderful place, we will be back.

I just spent $40 on a 15 piece sashimi platter and a rainbow roll. Rainbow roll has one piece of tuna, one piece of salmon, and one sad tiny boiled shrimp. 15 piece Sashimi platter had about 11 pieces of sashimi, and a few pieces of fake crab and boiled shrimp. I called and asked if imitation crab was considered sashimi, and was told that if it was all fish (sashimi) it would be too expensive, and that they have to make money, too. I paid $25 for the “sashimi platter”. Eat at your own risk. I won’t drop another dime at this place.
Edit: Just realized they didn’t give me any wasabi or ginger either. Save your money. Do not spend any of it here.
Edit 2: Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Just crumbles apart when you as much as touch it. Impossible to dip in a sauce, because it just falls apart as soon as you grab it.
Edit 3: Just realized that they layered the bottom of the sashimi container with cucumber, to stack the sashimi on to make it look like you’re getting more. Smallest pieces of sashimi I’ve ever paid for. Pic is attached.

The food is always amazing here! Don’t let the location or building fool you. The sushi rolls are always on point and some of the best we have had in the area. They don’t offer a huge amount of rolls but what they do offer is great. The regular rolls are good and they offer a deal on 2 and 3 rolls. The specialty rolls aren’t included in the roll deal but definitely try some of the specialty rolls if you get the chance. My kids love the steak bowl and the orange chicken bowl. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
