This is a great little Banh Mi shop tucked into 888. Their bread is out of this world! We got a couple Bahn Mi and some drinks, which were all excellent. The staff was also super friendly and made us feel at home. I’m looking forward to coming back to try some more of their menu!

Last week my colleague told me he saw an article ranking bánh mì as the top sandwich and was asking me if I knew any good Vietnamese Bánh Mì restaurant. They very much like bánh mì. I like Paris Banh Mi KC in Westport, but too far from our workplace. So we decided to try out this Bánh Mì KC, inside the 888 International Market & Cafe. Our first time, and we liked it!
The price and the size are just right for lunch, not breaking my bank. I would recommend this place!

Went here with my wife recently and was blown away by the service and quality of the sandwiches. I’ve tried a lot of Banh Mi and this is the best I’ve ever had! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I just ate dinner before visiting 888 for groceries. I saw this place and suddenly became hungry again. I’m glad I tried it! Perfect bread, lots of crispy veggies and meats. Great portion for a great price. The workers were very friendly. Will visit again!

Was given a sandwich by a coworker, so I haven’t visited myself.
The bread is fresh, with a nice crisp outside layer and soft inside. Perfect ratio of meat and veggies. Everything tasted crisp and fresh! The mayo or sauce they use is flavorful and not too heavy.
And the price! I sincerely hope this place sticks around. Some of the best banh mi I’ve ever had and likely the best you’re going to find in KC. I can’t wait to try this again!

Been meaning to review this place and I’ve finally got around to having time to do so. Here goes…first of all, a shout out to the cashier who took my order as she was very polite and respectful. The Banh Mi here is made fresh, and they stuff the heck out of the sandwiches so it is worth the price. It is sort of tucked away inside the 888 International Market so you’ll have to venture inside midway deep into the grocery store to find them. Banh Mi KC offers a variety of sandwiches to choose from and some sides as appetizers as well. The menu is simple and not overwhelming, which I really appreciate. If you’ve not gone here to give it a try…I’d highly recommend it.

Highly recommend the #1 sandwich—the ratio of meat, veggies, and bread is absolutely perfect! I also tried a few of their Vietnamese chè (dessert soups), including the mung bean coconut, red bean coconut, and white bean sticky rice. The portions are generous and the cups are quite large. Best of all, the ‘aunties and uncles’ behind the counter are so friendly. I love supporting a local business like this!

Enter 888 International Market, turn left past the cash registers and walk halfway through the building. Greet some of the kindest people on earth and have an incredible sandwich with fresh veggies on some of the best bread you’ve ever had.
