It was Friday and we decided to go to SWIRLZ for the first time this year for ice cream. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and as we walked in there several people ahead of us which gave us time to decide what we wanted.
There was only one employee behind the counter taking orders and I must say, she was doing an excellent job of taking care of the customers.
We ordered a cup of vanilla soft serve with hot fudge and a banana split swirlz.
We will definitely be coming back for more ice cream.

Used to love coming here. The quality has gone downhill in recent years. Every single time except twice did I try coming here this year they have been closed for some reason or another. Odd hours, confusing menu.

Used to love stopping in here on the way home from work. Last few times I’ve gotten what tasted like soft serve instead of custard. Then today, I stop in and pay for a large twisted custard, and get what looks like a kiddie or baby cup. I asked the young lady if she had that right, and she answered in the affirmative. And again it tasted like soft serve to boot. Just about ready to give up on this place. My son loves the Dole whip, however.

3 year later update:
(Still) The best Ice cream in Lake Orion.
They have added Dole whip to their lineup.
They do custard and rotate some flavors each month.
They have some really great unique combos. (Churro flurry anyone?)
The staff are fast and friendly.

26 minutes late me and my friend rode our bikes 25 mins to swirls and it says 4:00 to 9:00pm open. Right now i’m currently here at 4:26 and nobody is in the building. me and my friend better get a free ice cream cone for the lack of effort.

Oddly dim and dingy, several lightbulbs out. Number of signs was a bit overwhelming annd confusing, even the staff had to ask several times what we had ordered. Flurries were fine, good portion for a small but $$.
