This was our first visit to this sushi spot on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We were looking forward to something fresh and flavorful, but the experience was mixed. The miso soup was serviceable, and the edamame came out hot and lightly salted, which hit the mark. The sushi, however, fell short. We tried the spicy tuna roll and the yellowtail jalapeño roll—both lacked flavor and finesse in preparation. Honestly, without the jalapeño, there wouldn’t have been much taste at all.
Reading the other glowing reviews, it seems we either caught them at a particularly bad hour, or our idea of quality sushi is very different from theirs.

Kumo Sushi is one of those places that flies under the radar but delivers every time. The fish is fresh, portions are generous, and the vibe is laid-back without being sloppy. I tried the spicy tuna, dragon roll, and miso soup—everything came out fast and tasted clean. Nothing super fancy, but if you’re craving good sushi without the fuss, Kumo’s a safe bet. Would definitely go back.

Dined at this spot several times in the past and ordered for delivery many times as well. We went back last night and was very happy with our order. Had several maki rolls and they were also very good. Good service, nice atmosphere! Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back .

This Kumo restaurant doesn’t serve Thai and Chinese. Services are excellent. The food is amazingly delicious, with a big portion worth every penny. The carryout is the same size as dine in. Highly recommended.

Food was lackluster in terms of taste. Place was empty at 7pm, and my husband and I came for date night. I don’t believe we’d go back. So many better options in the area. I’m sad to say the highlights for me were the edamame and orange at the end.

This place is walkable distance from our house. We are vegetarians – WOULD YOU BELIEVE IF I TOLD YOU THEY HAD SO MANY OPTIONS? Yes you heard me!!! If you’re a vegetarian and think you can’t have Sushi – go to Kumo Sushi. We love their sweet potato rolls, cucumber rolls, mushroom rolls etc, love it! So tasty! Tummy and heart full happy! Well definitely keep coming back.
