Reviews
We received helpful service, just not “friendly” service. I think other reviews aren’t accurately reflecting the experience, at least not that I encountered. There’s definitely a vibe of “I’m praying you don’t talk to me,” but the cashier was incredibly helpful and asked us if we had any pizzas we were hoping to see on the buffet. The employees weren’t rude or unkind at all, they might just suffer from some social anxiety. Hoping to help set your expectations if you’re highly sensitive to that.
The restaurant is clean and simple, with two claw machines next to the drink fountain. They have TVs where you can watch a pack of hyenas devour the carcass of a wildebeest or a yolked bodybuilder lift a pallet of cement (I doubt these channels are on repeat but it was a vibe). It does get uncomfortablly hot in here. I’m not sure if the AC is broken or if they’re on the leaderboard of Rocky Mountain Powers’ energy saving initiatives, but it was toasty.
I really enjoy the pizza from Mountain Mike’s, and with a few tweaks this place is an easy 5-star joint, but for now it clings on the precipice of a low 4 because of the fantastic dough and abundant pepperoni.
I took a pic of a slice of the Pikes peak with extra ham and bacon. There is more toppings on a $9 buck pizza from little ceasars.
Horrible customer service and chinsy topping amount. Stay away at all costs.
High priced cheap pizza!!!
The cashier didn’t seem to really understand the concept of rotating the pizzas every 30 minutes I guess they don’t do that here.
No one else was in there. The pizza that was up tasted old.
I won’t be back until they have new management. Hopefully this franchise owner gets ejected out of this location. They are terrible.
Also, the staff let the phone ring for three minutes did not answer when I walked in with the phone still ringing they didn’t bother to pick it up. One of the staff members did come to come help me collect payment after they made the pizza requested they did not intend on making any more pizzas for the buffet. They sat in the back somewhere nowhere to be found.
The pizza was delicious. As Dave Portnoy would say “there is zero flop” in the crust. The pepperonis were cooked till they were crispy on the edges. Good all around.
Those that wonder what we ordered our go to pizza here is their chicken bacon club pizza pic below of what it looks like
So why Mr. Mikes did your cashier what tip amount I would like to leave? That is not professional.
The quality was better than other pizza chains. The flavors were delish however the pepperoni and cheese was over cooked.
