Their katsu is quite enjoyable- Crunchy, tender pork or chicken, and flaky fish. It’s light and not overly seasoned. The mix combo comes with soup and a tub of curry. Not much of a lover of this type of curry, so I usually dip the katsu in soy and hot sauce mix. I also had their udon. It was good, but not something I would be overly excited about. The portions are huge. Cashiers have always been patient and helpful. It’s one of the many food stalls/kiosks inside the Haven City Market, where you walk up to order the pick-up the food when the buzzer goes off. For dine-in in the cafeteria style tables and benches or for take-out.

I enjoyed eating the mix combo with chicken and pork katsu until today. They gave me all fish katsu with the curry and miso soup, i cannot eat fish so it is totally wasted. I was trusting the shop until that fishy taste hits like a truck. I had to throw up after. Called the shop and the person said they didnt take the order but apologize. But ruined my experience.

Came here two separate times and both times were pretty good. Got the chicken curry and curry udon combo. There is a bit of a wait for the order but after a stroll around the other restaurants your order is pretty much ready. Very crispy katsu. The curry also has amazing flavor. The portion size is also huge can feed two people for sure. Definitely a go to spot for katsu!

This was a complete impulse buy. My husband and I were waiting for our pizza from another vendor in the food hall and just randomly decided to order additional food.

We ordered their curry katsu plate.

Now first I must preface by saying I’m not a curry person. I haven’t really had it very often and wouldn’t even know necessarily what to consider good or bad. My husband is the curry person. With that being said, though I thought this plate was absolutely delicious!

The katsu was crispy and perfectly cooked. The curry had a wonderful, warm flavor that paired well with the chicken. The cabbage and peanut sauce that came with the plate added a nice fresh crunch. And the rice, which again I’m not a big rice person, was amazing.

Also when we ordered I was a bit off put by the price. I assume in food halls like this things might be a little more pricey but at about $18 (I believe, but don’t remember exactly) I wasn’t too happy. That is until we got it home and I realized how much food we actually got. This plate was big enough for my husband and I to comfortably share it and still have leftovers.

I can’t believe this happened. I ordered a pork curry today, and after paying, I simply asked for a cup of water–only to be told that water costs $1, and even more if I pay by card. Seriously? Since when do customers get charged for water, especially when dining in? I get that it’s a food court, but refusing to offer free water to paying customers is ridiculous. For a almost $20 dish with to-go boxes dining experience, I may be asking for too much but this is the last time I’m coming here.

Took a while to get my order, but it was very delicious and a good amount of food. Curry was a little bit spicy, just how I like it. It also came with a small miso soup.

One serving is enough for someone to take for lunch three days in a row. The bang for your buck here is better than anything I’ve seen. The food not only came in abundance but it came in delicious-ance. I got the chicken katsu and MAN I haven’t stopped thinking about it. (Best thing to happen to the Greater Los Angeles Area since Lebron joined the Lakers btw). Very good I would recommend you eat here if you’re going to haven city for the first time.

My boyfriend, my siblings, and I were having trouble choosing where to eat as there were so many restaurants inside Haven City and stumbled upon this place! Honestly, such a good find. We ordered their chicken katsu with curry, chicken katsu with udon, and their cheese katsu. All of them tasted great! I’d also like to add that the service was also great, the cashier was very kind 🙂
