I love the Italian with hot peppers! Great location, friendly staff, clean dining room and rest room. Highly recommend.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop has always been one of my go-to spots for a great sandwich, and the Tampa location did not disappoint. While the parking was a bit tight, the convenience of a drive-thru made up for it. Inside, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
I ordered the Bigs Ham and Swiss, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. We chose to dine in, and the vibe was super relaxed and chill. The lemonade was also surprisingly refreshing and delicious.
If you’re in the Tampa area and craving a quality sub, Potbelly is definitely worth a visit!

Ordered a veggie melt but it taste more like a grilled cheese with the lack of veggies on here. They completely left off the avocado. I wish they were as generous with the veggies as they were with the meat on my coworkers sandwich!

I had A Wreck that had plenty of meat, toppings and the hot peppers on top were tasty! I was at first a little hesitant to come in but I decided to try it myself and I’m glad I did.

Avocado and turkey sandwich. Barely got any Avocado. Less than 1/2 of one. Didn’t even spread it on sandwich. Employee had a bad attitude. Did not care and clearly should not be working in customer service. Poorly made. The avocado, which was supposed to be half the sandwich (Avo turkey) ended up on the wrapper. Skimped out on toppings. Not at all worth the unnecessary long wait or the $15 for bad sandwich, watered down drink and bad attitudes. Avoid this terrible location.

Potbelly is a sandwich chain located in Brandon, FL. The dining room is sterile, nicely themed, with and has an open kitchen. However, there was confusion on where to order, which was at the front. Most employees spoke too quietly, but they were polite and friendly.
The food can be either good or okay. The sandwiches have good-tasting bread. However, they either have too much flavor or no flavor. However, the cookies tasted good; they had good texture and the right amount of flavor. Overall, would not recommend Potbelly.

Pretty great sandwich. The service was very fast. The menu is easy to read as you walk in so for first timers there is little confusion. At this location, the seating is against one wall with room for a single person up to 4-5 people comfortably if needed to eat in. Such a cool little shop with many options for your sandwich. Don’t skip on the Hot Pepper Ranch! I had the Grilled Chicken and Cheddar on multi-grain bread and a soda. Very good value for the price in my opinion. Drive thru option if you are in a hurry, but inside, the service was just as fast for grab and go.

We have been to several Potbelly’s NYC to Tampa.
Love the food, never had a bad meal, but this location was really slow and disorganized. They had an employee taking lunch during the lunch hour, who does that??
It did however appear clean and nothing was out of stock.
The worst part of the experience was the order taker at the front, not pleasant and did not really care what was going on.
I will try this location again.

I think I need to try the Wreck sandwich next time. It seems like that is the popular sandwich. My last 2 choices were just okay. I downloaded the app because they really do have a wonderful perks program. I got a free cookie after my first order using the app. I chose the pick your pair option and got the Tuna Salad sandwich with the Garden Vegetable soup. I had read somewhere that the tuna salad was the best tuna salad that someone ever had. Well, it was also the saltiest tuna salad. Don’t get me wrong. A little salt is good but I wasn’t in love with this sandwich. The soup was good, and the free Chocolate Brownie cookie was delicious and and so full of dark chocolate. I’m one of those people that experiences that dark chocolate sneeze (photic sneeze reflex) when taking the first bite of dark chocolate. I knew right away that it was a good quality cookie. I love it! I would totally get that cookie again and again.
My second visit was to pick up my free original sandwich. Yes, another perk from the app after your very first order. I love that they do this. There are more perks as you start accumulating points. This time I chose the Pizza Melt sandwich. It was good, but nothing that I would ever go back for again. The Dream Bar was really great. I loved the oats, chocolate, and caramel in that bar. They do give it to you cold, or at least that’s how I received it. It was like it came out of a refrigerator case. But, 15 seconds in the microwave made it taste like it was fresh out of the oven. This is another item I would go back for. They also serve Zapp’s potato chips. The voodoo flavor is a favorite in our household. I know you can get them at other places, but it’s nice to have this brand and choice of flavor at a sandwich shop.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop gets an extra star because of the perks, variety of items offered, and the service. I know the big draw is having your bread toasted, but that’s really not my thing. I prefer Publix deli subs with Boar’s Head meats and lots of veggies. I do want to go back and try the Wreck and a shake one day soon. They do have certain days of the week when you can earn 2 or 3 times the points towards your free sandwich as well. Yep, I just want to earn points for that free sandwich like Elaine on Seinfeld. I want my free sub!!

I have left and come back too often…I get their Apple Walnut salad combo and they often skip things such as but not limited to Forks, Walnuts, Chips, etc.
It sucks and now the quality is also in decline, the lettuce and apples are subpar and chicken can be rubbery.
I know it’s not gourmet, but quality should top the list.
Lastly they are pretty slow especially drive thru and order completion.
May have been my last trip.
Sad.
