TIME FOR A REAL REVIEW!
Went here for the first time, while I was playing poker down in atlantic city this weekend and I decided to stop here for breakfast. Due to hearing, they had good sole food. I must say the atmosphere is not nothing to write home about. But it’s a quiet, cozy little restaurant. The waitress was nice.The food was good, but it did take a little while for my order to come and i really did not see the waitress as much as I probably would have liked. The only issue I really had with.This restaurant is the portion size. I feel with my home fries, they could have given me a bit more rather than count out like ten to eleven potatoes to put on the plate. Do better with the portions. Other than that the food was delicious.

We haven’t had the chance to revisit Kelsey and Kim’s for a very long time. We were hoping to get breakfast, but we missed the cutoff by a few minutes. No worries, their menu is extensive and we opted for an early lunch. Our order took some time, but since the food is cooked to order, that wasn’t too much of an issue. We had the pork chops, the fried catfish and the chicken and waffles. My compliments to the kitchen staff, the food was delicious! I forgot to mention the delicious cabbage and collard greens of which we added an extra side. Our server was pleasant. Maybe on a return trip, we can make it on time for breakfast. Our lunch was awesome!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Kelsey and Kim’s once again we never come to Atlantic City without coming to this restaurant but this time we had the waitress Marie P and she was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel at home. Beautiful smile. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant and please ask for Marie.

Situated right near a beach so you get a great view of the sky with a beach breeze. The food was so good! Ray was a great server! I will go back for sure the next time I am in AC. Cornbread top tier. Catfish nuggets were the best I ever had. Highly recommend.

Breakfast time and looking for fish and grits. I got salmon cakes and grits and it’s delicious. My server Yisel is professional and beautiful. Chef Rodney is excellent.
The price is reasonable and the restaurant is clean with nice music playing. They had many other dishes too. Yesterday I had eggs, sausage, hash browns with onions and peppers and it’s was delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant

Came in this past Sunday around 12:30 in the afternoon and everything was bad I was told 15-20 min ended up waiting about 45 minutes and being the last person getting my food. With people who ordered the same meal after me getting their food before me. No one apologized for my wait. It was a heavy set woman with glasses taking orders and yelling about people eating her food out of the fridge. She was so rude. The food was not good at all. Ribs were tuff, Mac and cheese was just cheese. Yams not flavorful. Cabbage was soggy. Corn bread was hard. The store is a 4 out of 10. I have now had both Kelsey’s and would not recommend to anyone. Also the sign tells a lot. You are better off getting take out from Habeebi’s. Food is way better and service is too.

The hours of operation are confusing. They differ on the website as well as Google. The food is now a hit or miss. The last time I had turkey chops from here they were extra tough and I could not eat them. I believe they were likely undercooked. This time they were cooked perfectly, however they were salty. I tried mashed potatoes and string beans. The potatoes were horrible….tasted like they were literally made with spoiled milk. The string beans were also very salty. Someone in the store purchased fish & it smelled like it needed to be trashed. The food would be better if other seasoning were used & go easy on the salt. Also curious about them only doing take out during dinner hours. That’s the time when people usually want to sit and enjoy their food.

I ordered the catfish breakfast with cheese grits, scrambled eggs, and rye toast. It was flavorful and perfect for my taste palette. The grits were so creamy and the fish was nice and crunchy but juicy. Seasoned to perfection. My husband and daughter ordered the chicken and waffles. It was very delicious as well. The chicken had a wonderful crispy texture and well seasoned. The drink of choice for everyone was the “Uptown” which is basically a half-and-half, a.k.a. Arnold Palmer. It was good. If visiting Atlantic City, I recommend visiting and trying out some food here.
