I had the pleasure of having Sultan Restaurant and Lounge for lunch today and it was so delicious! I got the chicken plate (mixed dark and white meat) with rice and tabbouleh. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. They’re open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday!

My wife and I noticed this place a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a try. I am very glad we did. We shared the Hummus appetizer with chopped fresh parsley and it was delicious. My wife had the cheese rolls with a house made tomato dip very tasty. I had the kofta kabob with grilled vegetables and small salad it was fabulous. We will absolutely be back for more.

Went once in the past and it was fine – good quality food, nice people but expensive. Went today with my mother around 130pm and we were the only people there. Ordered a couple simple sandwiches/kebabs. After 45mins of waiting with no food, we finally just left. Lady taking orders said they’d just put our stuff on the grill. Totally baffling. No idea what they were doing in the back other than hanging out not making food. Super odd experience – hoping it was just the time of day.

The food is absolutely amazingly delicious. We are very picky because we both cook well, and we have a lot of ethnic foods where we’re from. This is by far, our favorite middle eastern eatery anywhere in Charleston so far! You must try it!!!

With high expectations we drove considerably further than generally to go to this restaurant and it was worth the effort. This restaurant had incredibly good and friendly service along with fresh food that is hard to find. Even with the long drive the food exceed my expectations and I’m eager to go back.

I ordered from here specifically for the baba ganoush. I never got a call that they were out. The delivery driver told me over the app while he was already on his way that “they were out of hummus” yet I did not order hummus. The driver did not have my baba ganoush. Best part is they dropped it off at the wrong address, I assume, which isn’t the restaurant’s fault but I don’t want it anyway because I specifically ordered FOR THE BABA GANOUSH. Why wouldn’t you call and let me know?! That is extremely rude and inconsiderate. I’m giving 3 stars because maybe the food was good, but minus 2 do poor communication. Next time call the patron right away so maybe they can decide if they even want the order anymore. The reviews for the baba ganoush were great and that was the reason I ordered from here. Won’t happen again.

Very good food, I had two appetizers: samosa and falafel. They were freshly prepared and delicious. It’s a low key atmosphere and service is prompt and attentive.
I also got baklava to go and it was served hot and had chocolate drizzled on top.
