Food was okay. I thought vada pav will be really good here, but it was average. Fries were soggy and very salty. They took a long time for delivery. Mostly a long time for the person to pickup from restaurant.

I used to order the HOT MESS almost weekly and it was great. It’s been several months (about 6 – may be longer) since I last ordered the HOT MESS since I’ve been meal prepping. I decided to treat myself. Ordered the HOT MESS. I was looking forward to the big chunk of chicken, the hot sauce balanced by the awesome desi slaw, and over all delicious goodness that was worth the price.
That is NOT what they gave me. I had it delivered. The sandwich had a tiny piece of chicken the size of which I’d have expected in McDonalds. There was a COLD slice of cheese (which I didn’t ask for and is a separate charge normally). And worst of all, there was no slaw at all in the sandwich. I basically paid $15 for something that used to be great, and got a sickly $2.99 fast food sandwich instead.
I understand cutting costs when necessary (they used to do a brown cardboard box which had branding and panache). The cheap white styrofoam box that I got this time is a perfectly acceptable way to cut costs. But NOT the sandwich. That’s a problem.

Placed online order, but when it was time to pick up the food the person on the phone said they didn’t know what I was talking about and they didn’t have an order with my details(very rudely I might add)…my bank statement told a different story. Spent a long time trying to sort it out with my banking institution, then months after the incident I am receiving calls from the ordering service asking me why I disputed the charge…seriously? No one was concerned when I called to say I was charged for an order that was never fulfilled. The restaurant is listed on google as Burgers from Bombay but the business is operating as Southern Spice, very shady and thieving practices. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for dining options. If I could score lower than 1 star I would.

The buns were not good.

Worst food and experience ever. First of all there are no signs or board to show where the restaurant is. This is located inside southern spice and the food was stale and nit at all fresh. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.
