First visit… the price for the dips to go were a little too much – the containers were small, the tortillas for the street tacos were very greasy, and the steak was fatty. Overall though, the food was good. The Mexican stew was very flavorful, the beans were good (and I never eat the beans), the rice was good too. The enchiladas were great. The guacamole was really good. We didn’t care too much for the chorizo dip. There was a lot of cilantro in everything… it tastes like dish soap to me. The lunch specials look like great deals so, we’ll go back to try other options.

Visiting the area for the day and the reviews said this is the “Best” Mexican spot to eat at. Upon arrival, we noticed that they have moved the establishment down the street and it’s not posted. However, it is not hard to miss as their new location have a big sign. Entering the restaurant it is very nice inside with a couple of murals plenty of TVs and beautiful tile work. Their complimentary salsa is delicious! With a little bit of heat that creeps in after indulging in a few chips. I ordered carnita tacos with cheese and as much as I wanted to be excited, I was disappointed. The corn tortillas had a nasty taste and were super oily. The carnitas on the other hand were delicious! The tacos came paired with rice and beans and that was a bit bland…but nothing a little salt can’t fix. I then took the carnitas from the tacos and dumped it in with the rice and beans and made me a new little dish and it was delicious. My daughter went with the Moctezuma’s Nachos and she really enjoyed it. She couldn’t stop raving on the seasoning of the chicken. Overall, it was ok

Amazing Mexican food as close to AZ/NM flavor I’ve ever had in South Carolina.
They are very busy so expect to wait. You have plenty of chips, salsa and margaritas to get you by.
Real Mexican food is an experience so plan on spending time.

Proof of the tenet that the most unassuming place will be the best. Not a single bad meal by the whole family. I particularly liked the Chile Verde. The salsa tomatillo was perfect. Sébastien was an excellent server. Carnitas were classic as well as the chicken fajitas.

Parking is limited in front. I wouldn’t recommend the fajitas. The enchiladas are pretty good. Great for drinks. The large drink is massive. They have the tiny ice that is so good. I feel like my drinks had too much ice so go light on ice. Portion size are not enormous. They do have a small bar area. Friendly and welcoming waitress and waiter. They do catering or large to go orders. I saw alot of to go orders so the food is good.

It’s clean, great, friendly service and we have never had a bad time or food there. It’s our favorite restaurant. We love meeting our friends there for a great meal! They also have a wonderful happy hour…margaritas!

So I had a pickup order which I ended up eating at the house. I chose the 12in burrito meal and it was phenomenal! I have had a lot of burritos from around the world and my partner is of South American descent and she cooks all sorts of Spanish food. This burrito is STILL, hands down, the BEST burrito is have ever had. A fair price and absolutely mouth watering! 10/10 cannot wait to order again!

First time visiting. I saw it as a suggestion when I was looking for something new to eat. I didn’t go right then. Lo and behold, a good friend of mine kept posting the meals she was getting so that really inspired me to check them out. I got Burritos Mexicanos and the Moctezuma quesadillas. Nice portion and delicious! I enjoyed the tri-colored tortilla chips too. Hope to go again during lunch or happy hour!

We stopped in Friday at lunch and sat at the little bar in the front. We ordered the chorizo queso to start which was pretty good and exactly like it should be. For lunch I had the 3 street tacos. The lengua, pastor and suadero. They were all really good. The weren’t filled to the top and the tortillas were a little too big for the amount of meat you get, but they were tasty. Make sure to ask for the habanero and jalapeño hot salsas. If I’m back in town I would definitely stop back in.
