This is my first try, trying fried chicken wings at a Chinese place since I heard it good! Let me just say this chicken wings taste like they are old and they just cooked them. The shrimp friend and beef rice is okay but not like any other topical Chinese rice, as you can see. Never going here again. I called to get a refund on my food I didn’t touch and they told me “no that’s what I order” I told them the chicken wings are not fresh, they are old. As I black woman I know when Fried chicken is old lol don’t play with my intelligence. Don’t go here at all! I tired to eat since I paid 26.00 on but it is so .

Terrible. There’s no flavor to anything. The crab rangoons are like bite sized & the texture is off. The “chicken” fried rice has some weird white stuff in it that they pretend is chicken. The chicken & mixed veggies has almost no chicken but giant raw mushrooms. Never again.

Golden Dragon is our absolute go to for takeout Chinese in Joliet. Realistically it rivals any Chinese that I have had anywhere… and I have actually been to China itself! I would wager that we have never had a dish here that wasn’t the best version of the dish that we have had anywhere, and we are constantly trying new things! I mean, we love Chinese food and this is our absolute go to. They are also quick. Don’t believe the 45 minute estimate when you place an order. It will always be ready way before that! You really don’t expect to have this quality of Chinese food in a place like Joliet! And it couldn’t be more conveniently located to where we live! Realistically, this is the only Chinese location that we use anymore when we want Chinese at home! And in case it is not obvious, the only reason that I rated the atmosphere as three star is because this is purely a takeout place. There is no expectation or need for “atmosphere“ when you are just picking up something for takeout.

Golden Dragon is quick, affordable option. Every time I call in an order there they are always polite and answer any questions I have about the entrée or item. The turnaround from when you place your order to pickup is quick, generally 15-30 mins. The food is always fresh, hot and ready to go. The entrees and soups are fine, but I wasn’t real impressed with alot of the appetizers (especially the egg rolls). My favorite item is the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo platter.

I ordered takeout yesterday $70+ worth. I was disappointed and mad . The only three items that were good and tasted as before was the chow mein and crab Rangoon and fried rice. The rest all had funny taste . Kun pow chicken was all veggies n peanuts. Little no chicken and it was diced so tiny I maybe had in a large two spoons of meat. And it was not spicy at all. The shrimp egg rolls taste sweet and strange . Too much cabbage no shrimp. They might want to make some fresh egg rolls.large general Taos chicken was aooo tough and over cooked I could tell it was old meat. I’ve ordered here many times throughout the years and this was so disappointing and to top it off my daughters got sick after eating it. I wish I could of kept my money and not ordered. I hope they change there food out and possibly revisit the flavors and quality of meat they use. I don’t think I’ll be going back anymore .

Ordered shrimp fried rice. Opened the box and there was around 6 shrimp on top. That was it kept digging for shrimp and there was none. If I wanted fried rice would have ordered fried rice. Will not be coming back
