I was in Paris Texas today with a friend and with it being Taco Tuesday and all, we stopped here.
It was clean and cold on this muggy day.
Service was great, the server/bartender was very attentive
My friend and I ordered barbacoa tacos with rice & beans. They were so amazing
They have a full menu of everything you could want, plus a bar section.
The lighting in the restaurant isn’t the greatest, just FYI

Had the most amazing time listening to live R&B while getting the greatest cocktails from the BEST BARTENDER AROUND!!! Lisa, you always know how to take care of your guests, even when things are incredibly busy!! I love how there have been so many pop-up events to catch lately, and we can’t wait for the next live concert!! Thank y’all for an amazing evening!!!

On the rounds of Paris’s mexican offerings we gave Alex’s a shot. First impressions were from my menu that had food and goo remnants in it. Not a good sign. The chips and salsa had a bag and bucket taste (very bland). My first choice for dinner was “sold out” which tells me frozen not made in house. Well then came the main course, as you can see from photos looked ok, but again bland even my daughter had to salt her food. The only spice I could detect was chili powder and the chicken meat was so minced up it looked canned. We were going to order desert but the waitress decided for us, that we were finished and brought us the check without even asking if we wanted anything else. As we left the restaurant ( we entered through the bar entrance) we saw the “C” rating from the County health department. Figures. Won’t be back! On to the next mexican restaurant Paris has to offer. Thanks for reading!

The food was so good! My kids got the tacos. I got the spinach enchiladas and my husband got the giant burrito.
Salsa was good!
*sorry the pic is after he ate some… but you can see there was was still so much left. He ate only a bit more after this. Most of it came home with us.

The food was good though a bit pricier than I expected for a place that doesn’t seem to have much recognition nor business.
The salsa was mild. Some TexMex restaurants keep your chip & salsa bowl full. This place didn’t offer more chips nor salsa.

In place of rice & beans I asked for salad no tomatoes. It was little more than a bowl of lettuce with a lil cheese tossed on.

Five meals with drinks & a bowl plus a cup of queso was $54. Nothing seemed exceptional; though, I wouldn’t have a problem eating here again.

Awesome margaritas. $1 off for Happy Hour . Food and service were great. Place is older and a little rough around the edges But well worth the vusit.

Had a great dinner here with the family. Food was delicious and service was great. Priced very reasonable for a family dinner. My son’s burrito was huge.

Ordered takeout and was disappointed that for $40 for a single meal, large queso, and a half gallon of margarita that I should get home with my food to find out you have to order the chips to go with your queso for $3.75 per small bag, and when you order the fajitas you should make sure and tell them you want your onions and peppers cooked instead of raw and crunchy. And emphasize that you would like the peppers or else you will get a single piece of bell pepper and an entire raw lukewarm onion. They raised their prices and severely lowered their standards. Definitely lost us as regular customers and we will make sure to not bring friends or family here anymore either.
