Had an iced rose matcha today while visiting bridge community cafe for the first time and I LOVE this place. The space is so welcoming and community centered and their coffees and teas are just downright incredible. I think I’ve found my new favorite cafe

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Staff are great. Food and beverage options are great, vibes are great – truly a community space. I make a point to stop by when I’m in the area.

Baristas, a skill, a passion? Should a human demonstrate emotion or act bland, indifferent, just get what you need? There are too many wonderful activities, vibes and efforts going on in this community, communal space. I’ll perform here one day. Hopefully, patronage will increase and continue, light music playing, independent artists wares for purchase. Atmosphere mellow and welcoming not rushed, pretentious but organic. Come check the Bridge Community Cafe out.

So tasty and I have never been disappointed with coffee, tea, the food or service each time I come in.

The Bridge Community Cafe sends me back to Guatemala where I can get a wonderfully made beverage and treat, sit at a table and relax as I read, work or enjoy the company of others. I can get a mug to enjoy my drink inside or ask for it to go.

Things that I’ve tried so far:
Mundo is my favorite drink iced or hot. I love the ginger and the cinnamon spice with it and while I was nervous to try, now I don’t want to go without. Chai latte is also a wonderful choice when I don’t want coffee.

Food wise I have tried the mixed berry pies, chocolate chip cookies and the vanilla sugar cookies with rose frosting. My favorite would be the hand pies with Sweet Potatoes and Kale!

This cafe is very welcoming to the community. Two bathrooms are available, one having a changing table for the babes. They also have a coffee program and pay-what-you-can soup Tuesdays. While most of the cafe has a variety of tables and chairs, they also have a small section for kiddos to play with some toys or read some books (English & Spanish).

Beautiful space, amazing mocha, love all the vegetarian food! My only suggestion is get rid of the big “no drugs, no alcohol, no guns” sign on the door.

I feel like it’s perpetuating the stereotype that Ypsilanti is somehow unsafe and gives a very weird vibe right off the bat. Hopefully you don’t run into any of those issues with your new business, but I don’t think a sign is going to do much and hurts more than helps…

It’s awesome having a coffee shop downtown again though and wish you success!

This is a great place to enjoy caf and decaf drinks and delicious food. I loved the Morado which tasted like drinking milk from a lavender cow fairy and the pach amama, which was very earthy and perfect for people who don’t like overly sweet drinks. I also ordered the eggplant ricotta sandwich on focaccia which is the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in recent memory.

The space is beautiful and they host lots of free community events!

What a cool Cafe! Probably my favorite Cafe I’ve been to in years, in many different states. It’s rare to find coffee shops that have so many non-caffeine options. I got the chai latte (how often do you find a non-caff Chai?!), but they also had some interesting lemonades, and herbal coffee sub latte, and one other herbal non-caff latte. I got the mushroom hand pie and it was delicious, as well as the strawberry mini pies which were also phenomenal. I was told that all the pie dough is made from scratch and I could definitely taste the love. And they served them hot! I think the only food there that wasn’t vegan were the chocolate chip cookies. I would have loved to take a couple of those to go if they were vegan.
The Cafe is very artsy with murals on the walls, local artist wares for sale, and comfy mismatched seating. I felt very welcome and safe here – it was clear to me that Bridge has strong values.
I would definitely visit here again to try the other non-caff drinks as well as the chocolate hazelnut small pies (they were out when I went).

This place is amazing I had the best matcha ever here. They are so community oriented, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious with a variety of plant based options, and the owner is a wonderful person. I love you Bridge!

They deserve 100 stars! First time in and I’ll definitely be back! The salted caramel latte was amazing. The egg plant and chickpea pie was to DIE FOR! Look at the little heart on it! Friendly staff and calming atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend.

Newly found place, obviously as a parent I was excited to see kids play station, beautiful hard working people – A sketch, planning, jewelry display all were beautiful moments – Lastly had the favorite latte.
