Ichiddo Ramen – Mall of America (Upper Level)
Being Asian, after spending a few days in Wisconsin, I was really craving rice. I stopped by Ichiddo Ramen thinking I might get ramen or something with rice, and I noticed they had Donburi bowls. It reminded me of Yoshinoya back in California, so I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the beef rice bowl with a strawberry iced tea. The food came out fast, the portion was great, and it tasted delicious. They give you plenty of shredded beef and the flavor really hit the spot.
Overall, I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars — definitely recommend this place and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

I tried Ichiddo Ramen for the first time and it was okay. Coming from someone who used to work at a popular ramen chain in the West coast, this is nothing too crazy. It is basic ramen. The flavors didn’t vary at all between spicy miso and tskuymen ramen. The dipping noddle broth was not thick or strong enough to be considered a dipping ramen. I ended up dumping the noodles into the broth instead of eating it dipping style because the broth was not strong enough. The spicy miso was alright. Not bad, not the best. Personally, I would only go here if this was the only ramen spot available or if i’m desperately craving ramen.

We ordered crispy chicken ramen and chicken fried rice. Crispy chicken was good but the Ramen soup was not flavorful it was too mild like a veggie broth and even the chili oil didn’t add any flavor or spice to it. Chicken fried rice was okay. I won’t prefer this place for my next visit.

The food was good but grossly misrepresented. The menu advertised 4 “stuffed” jalapeños. The pics show what was actually served. These are small slices of jalapeños. Also, they’re clearly topped as it’d be nearly impossible to stuff them as they are strips.
Again, the taste was fine, but they need to do better with the menu description.

I really enjoyed Ichido Ramen! My server was friendly. The noodles were a bit chewy, but the char siu and the broth was delicious. The price is reasonable because this is a whole meal which filled me up.

My expectations were not that high since this was a food court restaurant. But I really did enjoy this ramen. The noodles, broth, meat, egg, and even the fish cake were all very good. The price was a little high, but it was in line with other Mall of America food court restaurants.
I’m upgrading the service to a full five stars. On return trips I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and very accommodating of modifying their menu at the request of the customer.

Presentation of the food was done well. Flavor wise, it was good, 4/5 but could be better. The Ramen was kinda bitter 3/5. Some of the food was on the warm side and about to go cold, so it made me think it wasn’t freshly made hot.

Today, my friends and I went shopping at the mall. When we got to the food court, we saw an Ichiddo Ramen shop. I was surprised to find one here! There’s also an Ichiddo Ramen near where I live, and I’m a regular customer there. I especially love their chashu ramen, while my husband loves their beef ramen. The taste was still fantastic, just as good as the one near my house. It was a very pleasant meal! I’ll definitely come back next time I’m shopping at the mall
