I didn’t care for it. Tried two of the beers and didn’t like either. I found it very odd that a brewery seemed to be pushing vodka drinks a lot harder than the beer. The decor and lables seem like they are going for a macho theme, but it comes off kind of lame. Did not try the food but it looked okay.

Beer and flowers, they go together right? Answer, at Heart of the north they do. This is an awesome brewery. Very close knit team runs this place with extremely friendly service. They run 6 of their beers and a host of specialty drinks. On my stop they had a Pale ale, Blonde, Smoked lager, Amber, DDH Pale ale, and an IPA. All were really good, smooth, and polite beers. Even the the smoked was was not too overdone. Talked at length was a their bar tender, then the Brewer, then the brewers wife….I think I would have became friends with the whole bar but unfortunately I needed to leave. I am not in town a lot but I am already looking forward to coming back…I hear they have a peanut butter blonde coming soon.

Oh… yes there is a greenhouse here too. Put this place on your list.

The wings were inedible. Atmosphere is pretty good. Pizzas are ok, but a little pricey for what you get. Beer is cold.

Great atmosphere in a greenhouse! Would be 5 stars but think they need to have smaller table options mixed with larger tables. Just my husband & I at a 4 person table to eat and drink & had people bumping into us frequently. Also thinking as busy as they were, that they’re going to need to expand the seating area.

My husband and I stopped here on somewhat of a whim after doing another errand up north. A brewery, wood-fired pizza, and a greenhouse all in one— some of our very favorite things!

First of all, my husband and I both loved our beers. I had the DMFT and he had the Maverick. Beer almost always makes me feel bloated and full but I had two of these without any issue. It was slightly disappointing that they only had 4 beers on tap (we were told one was out and one tap was for a grad party) because we love to try different things but it sounded like they had a busy Saturday and possibly ran out of some things. It would also be nice to have brief beer descriptions on their board. They also had a cocktail list— I didn’t try these and probably wouldn’t because I don’t care for Trumie’s vodkas and this is what they were using in the cocktails.

We enjoyed sitting at the bar, but it did seem like one of the bartenders was out of the loop regarding whether the oven was hot, what was on tap, etc. They were both friendly and attentive, however.

We ordered the jalapeño bacon as an appetizer and it definitely had a nice kick to it. We then ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. They also brought out a side of relish to add to the pizza if we wanted. We loved the thin cracker-like crust of the pizza and it had lots of cheese, but I felt there could have been more chicken, onion, and buffalo sauce. It was tasty though, and went great with the beer. Overall, this was a fun find and we would absolutely stop here again.

We struggled to find this place, but when we did – wow! Live music, great beer, friendly people and the best staff! Everyone smiles and they look you in the eyes and deliver in full. This is a must stop if you’re in this area.
I highly recommend the amber 🙂

This brewery is amazing. They also have a nursery, which makes the environment even more beautiful. Great selection of beers, they even have live music on Saturdays. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Stopped by the brewery today to join in on their Oktoberfest celebration. Very friendly staff and the pizza was delicious.

My wife and I split a flight, beer was good and their cocktail menu looked super interesting… will have to go back and try some of them next time!

This place is SO good and owned by some great people. They have 6 rotating beers on tap, usually including their flagship dragon IPA, and amber. We tried the pretzel bites (PHENOMENAL), the wings, and the chips and salsa, and could not have been more impressed with the apps. The service was friendly and personable, and I would love to come back any time I’m in the area.

I would love to see them expand and offer more in terms of beer and food! Great modern and friendly atmosphere.
