Lee’s Creek Grocery | Lake Cherokee, Tatum TX
Lee’s Creek Grocery is a quiet little gem on the south side of Lake Cherokee. A true all-purpose general store with a welcoming, hometown feel. The home-cooked meals are comforting and delicious, the kind that make you slow down and enjoy the moment.
They keep fishing tackle and gear well stocked, along with camping essentials that make lake life easy and convenient. If you need something specific, they’re always willing to try and get it in for you.
The only downside is they close early, so plan ahead.
Simple, reliable, and full of heart. A place the lake community is lucky to have.

I just love the the family home cooked food. Love the wait staff and how personal they are I always love taking anyone that’s not from our area to Lee’s Creek and letting them experience the great food. I remember one of my first times of ever going to Lee’s Creek it was a Friday night in the summer time. Every Friday night they have a fish fry night (all you can eat). This one Friday night stuck out to me so vividly, because upon walking up to the front door there were some local lovelies sitting on the patio with guitars picking away. It was just a great experience! I hope you enjoy it like we all have.

I have eaten several things off this menu and everything is amazing I had the Southwest grilled chicken Cobb salad and it was amazing. Customer service is excellent. If you are in a hurry do not come here the kitchen is slow.

Fantastic Local place that is off the beaten path. They serve traditional american items such as Hamburgers, Chicken Fried Steak, Club Sandwich, Salads, Etc. There is something on the menu for everyone.
As of 2020, up until today 12/13/2021 they are only serving to-go orders. And while I miss eating inside the restaurant, the food is as good as ever.
They also have household items like Milk, Eggs Butter, Bread, etc if you happened to have forgotten while you were in town.

Great spot to grab breakfast or lunch out by Lake Cherokee. They make a terrific cheeseburger. Also have homemade chocolate meringue pies & homemade sourdough bread. The store has a great selection of products for sale to save you from a trip into town.

Eat here. Had the Tajas burger cooked to order, medium rare, and the meat was tender and juicy. For me there were too many soda straw onions on it to be able to get my mouth around the burger, so I ate them separately as onion rings.
My father had the chicken fried steak and he said that it was grisly. He mentioned that the last time he had it, it was much better.
The waitress was prompt, friendly, and kept my drink constantly filled.
The food is just a bit on the expensive side but well worth it.
If you are really into Texas, you’ll love the decor.

Friday night all you can eat fish, chicken, and shrimp. They also have beans and hush puppies you can go get yourself. Also I tried a burger there. It was pretty good just a little salty. Taste it before you add seasoning. Salt responsibly.
