Reviews
Immigrant Son Caffé delivers not only incredible food but also top-tier customer service. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The menu has a great mix of flavors—clearly inspired by cultural roots—and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. What stood out most was the attentive and friendly service, which made the whole dining experience feel personal and warm. Highly recommend for both the food and the hospitality!
I had the Chicken Alla Vodka and everything was perfect, the sauce, spagetti and the breaded chicken was all so perfect. I tried so hard to finish everything but couldn’t. The portion was perfect as well and came in a bread type bowl which was cool and delicious. My wife had the Shrimp FRA Diavolo and she loved it as well. The host was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us a quick run down since it was our 1st time. Our waiter was super nice and was very knowledgeable as well and helped me choose between 2 plates. Had a brief conversation with him as well before we paid about other restaurants. All in all we will be back and can’t wait to try something else. Also there was a line when we got there and an even longer line when we left, and this is a weekday. So I’d show up 15-30 mins before the time you think of going.
She ordered the breakfast lasagna, and I ordered the Molisa Egg Benedict. Both dishes really lacked flavor. The lasagna sauce had an unpleasant bland taste and wasn’t anything to rave about like so many reviews suggest. The Egg Benedict also had very little flavor it mostly just tasted like bread and egg. Even the potatoes were just plain potatoes without any seasoning or standout taste.
As for the drinks, my flat white tasted like it came straight from a basic coffee machine it didn’t have that rich espresso flavor you’d expect. The Americano just tasted like regular coffee.
Overall, it was disappointing, especially since we were celebrating a special occasion. I was really hoping for a more memorable experience.
We had the Breakfast Lasagna, mainl5 because it sounded unique. It was amazing! Big enough to share and full of flavor. Leo wisely recommended an order of focaccia toast to enjoy every last drop of the lasagna sauce.
Highly recommend! We will be back
The Giovanni omelet was dry. How in the world do you make a dry omelet?
The side potatoes looked flavorful but there are yes, you guessed it, bland. The jam that came with the toast lacked flavor as well.
Seriously how are there so many great reviews? I was so excited to bring my mom here for her birthday along with other loved ones and nobody was satisfied.
Why we didn’t we complain you ask?
Because no one had anything to eat before going so that we can “enjoy” our breakfast. We were so hungry we just ate our food.
The food is overly priced and definitely not worth it.
The service was great. Everyone was friendly. That was the only good thing about this place.
Other than that, we will not be returning.
