Bringing Southern Dockside Cookin’ to Clearwater Beach. Enjoy waterfront views seven days a week. If you’ve gone fishing, don’t forget to stop by with your fresh catch so we can cook it to perfection. Happy hour, all day-every day is how we roll, so come on by and we’ll make you a Florida Cracker.
Right by the marina, this casual restaurant serves American fish, seafood & cocktails on a terrace.

Nice restaurant with great food and friendly service. Went for both lunch and dinner our last day. Tasty grouper sandwich and tacos. Great views of the water and boats. Their house margarita was just ok, probably not worth the all day HH if you’re looking for a solid drink.

We had a wonderful dinner here! Highly recommend if you’re looking for well priced, high quality fresh seafood that is not just the typical fare by the shore. Hog Snapper is my favorite fish to eat and theirs was prepared with a light panko coating and served with grits. The peel and eat shrimp was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. 2 for $12 margaritas (not made with marg mix) were the perfect pairing. Service was friendly and attentive. I will be back!

If you’re looking for fresh seafood with a true Florida waterfront vibe, Salt Cracker Fish Camp is a solid spot. The location right by the water gives you that laid-back beach atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with family or friends after a long day.
The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the seafood plates, and the portions were generous for the price. Service was friendly and attentive, and you can tell this is a place locals and visitors both enjoy. Between the views, casual vibe, and good food, it’s a great stop when you’re in the Clearwater Beach area.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Salt Cracker Fish Camp. We started with the jalapeño & corn hush puppies, and they were so good we almost ordered a second round. The Cracker Cracker shrimp was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.
The star of the night was the Stuffed Mahi Mahi hands down the best dish we tried. The shrimp, scallops, and crab cornbread stuffing with the lobster gravy took it to another level. The Beef & Reef came in a close second and was cooked perfectly.
And we have to mention the Key Lime Pie absolutely incredible .
The perfect finish to an already amazing meal.
There was some construction going on, which only obstructed the marine view a bit, but honestly the food and the good music more than made up for it. Never judge the food by the ambience — this place delivers big on flavor and quality.
Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Florida!

We ordered peel and eat shrimp and oysters for our appetizers. They both were excellent. I ordered grouper cakes and they were delicious. My husband ordered shrimp and grits and he thought they were also great. Our teas were a little less than expected but we are also from TN and tea there is made like no where else.

Stopped in for lunch. Our wait staff, Lori, was awesome. She had great suggestions and her lively personality made the meal more enjoyable. My dining partner had the grouper tacos with crinkle fries and coleslaw and a glass of wine (double). She said the tacos were delicious. I had the grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries. I removed the fish from the bread because the heat of the grouper made the bread soggy. The sweet potato fries were okay, unfortunately a bit burnt. The crinkle fries (white fries) were better. I put some of the lettuce and coleslaw on the fish and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am giving 5 stars because Lori really made our time at the Salt Cracker Fish Camp a very fun event. As it is on the Jolley Trolley line, we intend to go back before we leave town.
I am adding a second review because we went back the next day. I had the Dixie salad and my partner had smoked fish dip for lunch. We both enjoyed our food (and polished it off). I appreciate that my salad wasn’t massive and just enough for lunch. Veronica was a lovely person waiting on us and Rosie greeted us and took over Lori’s spot (who was off) as our lively hostess.

We had a nice time. Was not fond of the lobster sauce all over the fish special but the oysters and ceviche were on point. Best key lime pie anywhere.

I love coming to Clearwater Beach. One of my absolute favorite places to vacation.
I now have found a new great place to eat and drink while watching the boats come in.
The Salt Cracker Fish Camp has the complete set up. Delicious meals and drinks- I had the Stuffed Mahi paired with a Classic Key Lime Martini and finished it off with a huge, amazing Key Lime Pie.
Best of all was the service. When you come here, you need to ask for Rosie. She’s a joy each time she comes by your table. She’s a beautiful person who loves life, her job and the area around and can give you great insight on where to go and what to do.
I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again!
I would have posted pictures of the food, but I ate it too fast.

Salt Cracker Fish Camp may be a bit off the beaten path, but it’s absolutely worth seeking out! The food was phenomenal—by far the best we had in Clearwater. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, every bite was delicious. It might not be one of the “must-visit” tourist spots, but for food lovers, it’s a hidden gem that shouldn’t be missed. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for lunch based on Maps reviews and was happy with the decision. Started with a half dozen oysters and then moved on to a delicious grouper sandwich. It was like a double-decker serving of grouper that was great without any additional sauce or condiments. Server was right on top of soda refills and water and quick service overall. Recommended.
