This is by far and away one of the nicest restaurants in Northeast Wisconsin. The experience is worth the money. We felt this was Chicago level food and drinks at a “bargain” price for amount and QUALITY of food.
We worked our way around the menu over a 2.25 hour period. The atmosphere is really enjoyable, very upscale. We said it was nice to see people dressed up to dine, in Oshkosh, just like the big cities. The drinks were fantastic, the appetizers were HUGE compared to what we expected. We skipped soup/salads and enjoyed our entrees. The house made pastas were delicious and textures of them were amazing. Just like in Italy, the dish is about the pasta, not smothering it in sauce that is full of nasty ingredients. Everything here was FRESH and clean ingredients. The dessert was very good as well. The total with tip was $160 for two, so it’s pricey but was well worth the whole experience. We’re looking forward to coming back with a group of 6.

5 Stars all around at the Truffle Pig in Oshkosh. Wednesday 6pm my birthday dinner with husband. The exterior prepares you for a fine dining experience. Upon entry the hostess station area is enclosed so the cold weather nor any noise goes into the restaurant. She greeted us and wished me a happy birthday!
Through the double doors on the way to the table you view the private room, the wine room, the awesome pizza oven, and the beautiful decor! Marble floors, chandeliers, monogram plates, staff uniforms, such an attention to detail, even the bathrooms are elevated to the experience.
Each dish is custom prepared & arranged with a flare – enjoy the dining experience providing opportunity for conversation.
The cocktail and wine menu is extensive.
With our cocktails we had appetizers – he had the special of mussels and I had the eggplant. Absolutely wonderful like my Grandma made, thinly sliced, lightly breaded and layered. Properly prepared with no bitterness. Delish!
The manager was a great help
In suggesting wine pairings for our entrees. Husband chose the lamb chops and I selected the branzino. Lamb seasoning was perfect and best mashed potatoes ever!! I mention I was thinking of the ravioli because I do not like having to remove the head and bones (the fish is served whole). Our server told the sou chef who went ahead and did all that for me! (See picture). That type of above and beyond attention to service speaks volumes! The food was the best meal I have ever had in the Fox Cities. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake which was perfect! For my birthday they gifted the custard with berries and Carmel sauce! No dieting tonight! Delicious digestif options as well as espresso. We will definitely go back again and bring some friends next time. As my honey said on our way home we would rather forego our various casual meals out to spend our dining out budget here. The Truffle Pig is a gem and has raised the bar for fine dining in the Fox Cities!!

I have eaten at a lot of amazing restaurants throughout the world and who would have thought the best meal I have had was in small town Oshkosh Wisconsin! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, service was impeccable and the food was unforgettable. Every ingredient was seasoned perfectly. One dish had so many flavors that all complemented each other. Was a great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

LOVED everything about the truffle pig. It was really a great experience. Not only was the food good but the atmosphere and the staff were incredible! From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with smile. The girl handing out bread was SO NICE. Even our server was fantastic. For everything we got, two drinks, an appetizer, two entrees, two desserts, it was about $100 which I think is very reasonable for what you get.

Just went there to our 1st year anniversary and the food was amazing. As many people here mentioned already, bread is just a small piece at a time with no olive oil or butter. Tables could have salt and pepper just so we don’t need to ask for it.
Our waiter was amazing and very kind. Staff was aware of our special occasion from the very beginning at the reception and gave us special treatment ever since, including drinks for special occasions.
The risotto was really tasty as well as the steaks. For the price, I was expecting a bigger steak, I must say.
