Had a great experience here! The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but what really stood out was the sesame seasoning. They give you whole sesame seeds and a small grinder so you can grind them yourself at the table — such a fun and interactive touch, and it makes the sauce taste extra fresh and aromatic.
The set meal was well balanced with rice, miso soup, and fresh sides. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, not rushed. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service too. Definitely a spot I’d come back to if you’re craving Japanese comfort food with a little twist.

This place exceeded my expectations! The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were well balanced. The tofu dish and sides were especially impressive — rich, savory sauce without being heavy, paired perfectly with the crispy vegetables. Every bite was satisfying. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, great for hanging out with friends or a casual date. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Overall a great experience — I’ll definitely be back!

Let’s start with the positive: Our server was awesome. Very nice, very attentive. He also offered a few suggestions and was patient while we made our decision.
The atmosphere is also great. Quiet and low-key. We were there at about 9 PM on a Saturday night. No wait.
Unfortunately, the Ramen was not the best this night. It was lukewarm temperature at best. When I bit into the tofu in my Ramen, it was warm on the outside, but freezing cold on the inside. We should have said something, but didn’t want to cause a problem an hour before they close.
Most likely, I wouldn’t go back. Despite the great service and atmosphere, the food wasn’t great and there are so many Ramen options out there. My real score would be 3.5…. but I’m rounding up because 2/3 of the experience was good. It’s just the main part that wasn’t.

Fantastic food and Finnigan could not have been a more kind and helpful waiter. Food tastes fantastic and is a good proportion. Only thing is that some of the seafood has small bones, nothing harmful or large. But I didn’t know about it before and was a little bothersome to pull out. Otherwise we didn’t have any complaints and pricing is more than fair.

Heaya Ramen & Rice Bowl is fantastic! We ordered ramen, fried pork cutlet, and calamari, and every dish was delicious. The ramen was flavorful and comforting, the pork cutlet was crispy and juicy, and the squid was perfectly cooked. Great food and a satisfying experience overall. highly recommend!

I went to celebrate with my brother and his wife. I ordered the specialty of the week Beef Brisket Ramen and it was divine. the chef served me the ramen and offered spicy sauce and of course I accepted it. Added into the soup, the spicy sauce created the umami flavor I was looking for. I loved the rosemary lemon infused water they serve. Finnigan served us and she was very attentive and helped my brother get the bacon ramen he wanted to try. His wife got the vegetarian miso ramen and she liked it! Would go again! Great service and cooking. Recommended for all

Stephanie, our server was so kind and made us feel welcome. Ambience was great- clean, simple, beautiful restaurant. Most importantly, the food was FIRE We tried the Katsu, which comes with miso soup, cabbage salad, rice, a small side of potatoes and other yummy pickled items. We got a side bowl of sesame to grind fresh and add the sauce in- fun experience and it was so yummy with a little Dijon mustard. It was delicious and a great value – we got this and karaage (also delicious) and couldn’t finish all of it.

I ordered the Shoya Ramen with “slow cooked chicken thighs” but what I got looks like chicken from a tube. Picture for reference. The chicken was awful, but the rest of the ramen was okay. The hostess was very pleasant and nice. This was my first time here but will probably be my last for using tubed chicken.

The food here is very high quality. Though you may steer away because of the price, but you can tell the chef has skills and talent in what they make. The craftsmanship is good. It is a great place to go to for an anniversary or celebration. The people there are friendly and continues to check on you. Great place! Will be back. Highly recommend the Ika (squid), the Mackeral, or the charcoal chicken katsu.

So yummy and delicious. The inside was so cool I love the art on the walls. The portions were perfect. I got the playboy roll. I finished it so quick. I usually don’t like spicy stuff but the spicy Mayo was very good as well as the spicy edamame. I strongly suggest going here! I only spent $11 with tip for a whole roll. Definitely not too expensive.
