4 street tacos and a drink for 7$ sounds good to me. Had the grilled chicken, beef , and carnitas. All were very good. The space is a little generic, but I’ll be back to try more.

IF you can overlook the atmosphere then possibly you can dine in. This place is like a page from the 1980’s with its decor. The menu is the most updated item in the restaurant. The food is basic and lacks any flavor. They are over priced for Birria and then they have the nerve to have a long wait when there is literally no one inside placing orders. I ordered the Birria tacos and the consume was dark thin water with no flavor. The Birria meat was TUFF AF and big chunks and my teeth took a beating. This place is not authentic nor does it sell any quality products. Where does one prepare beans in the microwave? HERE!

I’d heard very mixed things about this place. Some friends told me it was garbage while others told me it was great. So I finally decided to find out for myself, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The big drawback is the location. It’s kinda gross. But the interior is clean, the food is delicious, and the soda fountain has cherry syrup for making your own cherry cola, and that alone earns the place four stars. The plates are large, the cost is moderate, and the eats are well worth it. Highly recommended.

Tacos El Sinaloense TACO TRUCK sits on one of the busiest streets in Sacramento, 44th street and Fruitridge. It’s always there. And has been there for the last…at least six-years. $1.50 per taco, $5 burritos and tortas.
I stood under the shady awning and downed a taco de cabeza and a taco de carne asada, topped with the most amazing salsa. Not that watery and sometimes bland pico de gallo. But, a picante avocado based salsa that’s perfectly acidic and slightly tropical tasting. Comes with traditional accountrements: radish, cilantro, onions, pickled carrots and jalapeno and lime. The cabeza was cooked down into the most tender, and somewhat sticky, shredded roast. I also like when they put your carnitas on the flat top and let it get cripsy. Then they put your filled burrito on the flat top and let the outside slightly blister. Both adding an unexpected texture.
No unneccessary garnishes, no benches to sit down, no accoutrement bar standing next to the stale tortilla chips. Just honest and affordable food.

Customer service was great! However chilie Verde was salty and a little greasy for my taste.
