Potz & Panz Gourmet Café is not your average soul food joint. We specialize in gourmet Authentic southern cuisine , unique sides and homemade desserts. We create new and exciting possibilities by blending our flavors from the Far East to the South West. Fan Favorites are Fresh Vegetables, Herb Bake Chicken, Smoked BBQ Ribs, Caribbean Smoked Jerk Chicken, Smoked Brisket and Handcrafted Lemonades! We always have options for a variety of dietary needs including gluten-free and vegetarian options. When you walk into our house you will be greeted with a wide variety of home cooked foods and over the top hospitality. We cook breakfast to order from 7am-10am & lunch starts at 10:30-3:00pm. Our restaurant is kid friendly and family oriented.

I’ve had Potz & Panz twice now. 1st from door dash. My food came hot and it was very delicious. I ordered the smothered pork chops. With collard greens and mac and cheese. It came with hot water cornbread. I will give that order 10/10. The greens were seasoned perfectly and the smothered pork chop required nothing added. I would say I was disappointed that the smothered pork chop didn’t come with rice or mashed potatoes but the meal was still amazing.
When I actually visited the establishment I noticed that you had to order from the window outside which was fine. The woman taking orders at the window was a gem. She was so sweet, welcoming, and down to earth. Before I ordered she let me sample the jerk chicken. That was the best jerk chicken I’ve ever eaten and I’ve been to plenty of Jamaican restaurants or restaurants in general that call themselves making jerk chicken and none of them can hold a candle to Potz & Panz jerk chicken. RUN… don’t walk, and get you so ASAP!! Unfortunately I didn’t end up getting the jerk that day because my mouth was set on another smothered pork chop plate. I ended up getting the plate with rice and gravy, collard greens, mac and cheese, and field peas w/okra mixed. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the rice was under cooked and the collard greens didn’t taste like anything that day which was disappointing. Everything else was cooked to perfection including the hot water cornbread. I’m still going to go back to try other items on their menu. This place is highly recommended.

This place is awesome. I had the chef special, curry chicken. The food was amazing the staff was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was pretty cool, there was K-Love radio playing and the room was clean. Tables were neat and orderly, and the chef even came out to ask how we liked the food.

The place was supposed to be open Monday-Friday 10am 3pm. We called at 1 pm to place an order (nobody answered the phone). Since we were out shopping, we decided to ride by there arriving around 2pm. They were closed and it looked like they were not open at all today. It makes it hard to support a business when they don’t adhere to their hours advertised. We won’t go back.

Tried this place for the first time today. I’m not sure if it was the owner or not, but he knew It was my first time by the confused look on my face. Everything looked so good I couldn’t make my mind up on what to order. The cook/owner and the cashier for the day(young guy) were very nice and let me try a few samples. The food was very good. Good size portions for your money.
