Delicious tacos, affordable prices, and coke with real sugar? Yes please. The menu, while small, is concise and ensures quick service. The salsa bar is a nice touch, with a range of spice levels. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but worth the effort to find it. Parking can be a little tight.

My partner is a San Antonio native, so we have very high taco standards. La Loma is the only place we’ve found here that even comes close to meeting them. They’re authentic; none of the bougie, gentrified stuff most of the taco places here sell. Not that weird tacos are bad, but sometimes you’re just in the mood for the real deal. And when you want simple, legit tacos, this is the place. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s clean, affordable, and delicious. Plus everyone is super nice.

If you are looking for awesome authentic tacos… LOOK NO FURTHER. This little joint is a perfect pit stop to top off your hunger and enjoy tacos. A micro FAMILY owned taco shop. Support these awesome people by enjoying their amazing food. I don’t get it. I got two steak tacos. They were the most chewy, dried out, gross tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve been eating tacos by the thousands since 1992. People who say this place is good must be family. It was embarrassing eating it in front of people staring at me and I had to throw it away.

Finally ate here after working so close to it for so long.
Not disappointed at all. I haven’t had a taco like this since I lived in Vegas and ate at El Gordo.
My coworker believes this place is better than papas and beer. Give this place a try. I will be going back.

Amazing. The best tacos de lengua I’ve had in YEARS. So tender!! Salsas were perfect. I ordered tacos, huarache and sopes and they were all outstanding. Will be back again and again!
