We ordered a large Supreme at Bennie’s. They use their signature red sauce and mozzarella cheese blend topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni and fresh sliced mushrooms, red onions, bell peppers, banana peppers and black olives. (No onions, banana peppers or black olives on half).
There was a two-piece band playing some classic rock, so we got to listen to them while waiting on the pizza.
I really like the sauce, and they weren’t stingy with it. They crust was chewy with a crisp bottom, and there were plenty of toppings, but not too many of anything.
Oh, and they have Fitz’s root beer on-tap!

I drive over an hour to come enjoy BYO salad and a vegan cauliflower crust pizza (with black olives, basil, tomatoes, mushrooms, and vegan cheese) that you can only get here! FYI, I love the way Wyatt makes my food and I always enjoy seeing Chris! ❤️❤️❤️ They also give military discounts!

They got amazing pizzas and the salads look huge! They have some gluten free pizza options and i believe they even have vegan options. You can get two different types of pizza made or just order a slice. Try the biscuit and gravy pizza and a side of hot sauce!

We have been supporting Bennies and recommending the place to friends who visit and others for years, even in the orginal location before they grew into this great spot.. They have great music guests and we like the pizza. I’ve purchased Bennie’s merch and met the owner and his daughter many times and his little girl usually is running around and will get my girls visiting. Today, I took 1 of my 4 daughters in for mom and daughter date and ordered her a slice of cheese pizza and myself a slice of pepperoni and 2 drinks to eat there. The slice of pepperoni came out but they said it would be a minute for the other stuff. I decided to cut the slice in half and take the pepperoni off and share mine since hers wasn’t ready. We also ordered a whole cheese pizza to take home, a whole build your own, 2 lbs of hot wings and a s’mores special pizza. The guy who took the order remembers my order including the cheese slice but then when the slice of cheese never came out after the buzzer buzzes me 3 different times to come up for each item when ready I went ahead and asked. That’s when a different guy says there wasn’t any cheese slices on the order and that I had everything I ordered. Unfortunately I was not give a receipt for my initial order but have a $90 charge and a second charge for the added $35 charge for our additional pizza. I left with the boxes and got to the car feeling disappointed and sad that one of my favorite places had ruined my mom and daughter date night. I opened the boxes and then realized I still did not have the whole cheese pizza. I went back inside and said, “I’ve come in many times over the years and even have many seasons of Bennies shirts and that this was the first time that I’ve felt like a mistake that was not my fault was not remedied and that I was still missing a whole cheese pizza not just the slice they said I didn’t order.” They finally gave me the whole cheese pizza, no slice and I just left but I’m still feeling quite bitter about the whole interaction and lack of responsibility taken to correct the mistake. The original guy I placed the order with mouthed “I’m sorry.” as I walked out the second time. Just a bummer that a local family of 6 who supports and recommends the local business and shows up for school fundraiser nights and frequently spends over $100 every single time is now doubting their decision to return. We will take a break, but hopefully someone will figure out how to remedy issues like this.

Great pizza. Order at the counter, find your table. No servers. Order by the slice or whole pizza. Had the buffalo chicken. Was wonderful. There is a good sized family room that is available also. Very wheelchair accessible, very family friendly. Plenty of parking in back with dual entrance. Highly recommend.

I went to Bennie’s pizza pub on a cold, snowy, wintery night on January 31, 2026. Outside was frigid with subartic temperatures looming. However, inside Bennie’s Pizza Pub was beaming bright with warmth and laughter. The oven was cranking out delicious hot pizza and all sorts of delectable delicacies. The salad was crisp and fresh. The bartenders were slinging up their finest spirits. I tried one of the valentine’s drinks. It was great.
So, when you are in the downtown Belleville IL area Bennie’s Pizza Pub is a must try. I’m confident you will have the same pleasant experience I did. There are plenty of food options, and drink options. Some nights there is live music.

If you’re anywhere near Belleville, Bennie’s Pizza Pub needs to be on your radar. Their slice is basically a quarter of a pizza—for $8—and it’s the kind of generous portion I fully support.
I ordered the pickle pizza (yes, PICKLE), and it was tangy, cheesy, and way better than it had any right to be. But the standout was the supreme—loaded, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: it smelled so good I forgot to take a photo until I’d already eaten half. No regrets.
The atmosphere is fun and casual—neon lights, a stage for live music, a full bar, and a wall of merch if you’re feeling like repping your pizza loyalty. It feels like a neighborhood spot where you could post up with friends or catch a show and a drink.

Bennie’s Pizza Pub is a fun place to get a tasty bite. Their unique pizza flavors make them stand out. I’ve had the Pepperoni, Hawaiian Hog, Meat Lover’s, Supreme, Dill Pickle, and Crab Rangoon slices. Slices are cut to 1/4 of a pizza- which is fun, filling, and affordable. When we go, my husband asks for our slices to be cut into thirds and then we share with the group. It’s a good way to get a sampling of what they offer.
I don’t think the pizza’s flavor is outstanding (though it is still definitely good), but they compensate with the uniqueness of what they offer. I think the thickness of the crust hampers the flavor of the pizza itself. Bennie’s also hosts live music and has a great drink selection (including seasonal cocktails) at the bar.
