Went to Sweet Sunrise for the first time with my husband. It’s a new diner-ish restaurant family-owned alongside a fav of mine, Rey Azteca. The dining area is kept clean, staff is warm and welcoming and as I said they are new and still ‘playing around’ with their menu and culinary skills and getting a feel for who they want to be and are very open to hearing about what’s working and what needs improvement. I love that they’re keeping some of the original ‘Rey Az’ feel and flavors in their new menu. Loved my shrimp quesadilla! We’ll definitely stop in again soon to check out their progress!

This was a second time there for breakfast. Both times the service was great along with delicious and plentiful food. Both times we had leftovers for the next day. We found out today that they are open for dinner also. Originally, the hours were 7am to 3pm now they are open until 8pm. We will be back to try dinner.

Taylor was our server and she did a great job. We ordered two of the smokehouse burgers and they were pretty good, but I assume they use frozen patties as they started to taste a little processed and came out well done. I watched some of the other dishes come out and they looked great so we will definitely be going back to try something else next time.

We’ve been to Sweet Sunrise twice now — once for dinner and once for breakfast — and both visits were fantastic. What truly sets this place apart is the freshness of the food. Everything tasted homemade and high quality. The meals were excellent, and the service was just as impressive. It’s definitely a spot you need to try — you won’t regret it!

Went to eat here and was satisfied with fresh and delicious food, the soup of the day was seafood brisk and it was succulent! Wings were flavorful and can compete with wing stop.

5 stars for Sweet Sunrise! My waiter was attentive and kind. Although it’s very different from the past restaurant, it’s owned by the same family. A lot of respect goes out to the family for continuing to serve their community. Best of luck!

My wife and I went to breakfast for the first visiting there and was so disappointed, first it took forever to get coffee and had to wait even longer to get creamer.
The waitress wasnt the best and than my order of pancakes arrived and were a little hard and dry and yet here’s the best part my wife sat there and watched me eat as her Waffles never made it to the table. Complained to the so called Manager and he all he said was sorry and no charge, big deal on no charge need to get the staff in shape and learn the restaurant business. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN NOR RECOMMEND IT.

The Turkey Club on toasted Sourdough bread is GIANT, cut in thirds, and the best club I ever had.
If you choose the soup that’s included, get the Alfredo Mushroom soup w chicken. It comes in a big BOWL (not a cup) w toasted garlic sourdough bread and is To Die For.
They also included French fries and coleslaw for $11.99. I asked for mayo on the side and rcvd a generous cup. Got 2 more meals out of my take-home.
Next time I’ll ask for avocado on the side to add to the club for a healthy choice …may be a bit extra$. Avocado slices came w my friend’s TORTILLA soup.
She said she likes Rey Azteca’s version better but she is VERY fussy so don’t let that stop you from trying Sweet Sunrise’s version.
Say hello to Ezekiel the manager and say Sue Diamond recommended you!
