The people that work here are always super nice and accommodating. They are great. I havent tried the food here, but the coffee is really bad. I get it, they go through alot of coffee here so they buy lavazza in bulk. But if your charging nearly $9 for coffee in a paper cup at a fancy hotel, it would be nice to get some freshly roasted coffee made that actually taste good. But unfortunately its owned by Marriott, and they are too big to care about what their customers think or care about.

The food was surprisingly good. I really liked the ham and cheese croissant.

This fun little coffee shop is super accommodating and an easy spot to stop with my kiddo. He had an open-faced peanut butter and banana sandwich with honey and coconut. His sandwich was so good, he talked about it quite a bit.
They can make the wraps into gluten free sandwiches and are very helpful in trying to keep you from becoming sick. I enjoyed their coffee drinks and their juices.
On my husband’s recommendation-avoid the burrito. I’d also avoid the sweet potato hash plate. While pretty, both lacked flavor. The hash was also in a weird bowl that just didn’t work for it. My husband had the steak and eggs, they were fine, but also commented that the bowl made it difficult to eat.

This is a great cafe inside the Ritz. They offer everything you would expect from a cafe, my favorite being an iced vanilla latte, which they pull off very well. However, they have a great assortment of snack and pastry that are made in house. All the items I tried were quite delicious. Besides the good food offerings, they have some great places to work or relax with a book if need be. Definitely a great addition to a wonderful hotel.

Upscale and they carry Voss water at this place for pre 180 blu al fresco. Raya by Chef Richard Sandoval (AAA 4 Diamond Rating) is the gourmet cuisine option here. You can even catch the game at The Marketplace—on the stools at counter and listen in with headphones. Spanish guitar music flooded the halls.
Fireplace was crackling as hotel guests passed by carrying long boards to ride the famous waves of Salt Creek Beach. Coffee is Lavazza—so delicious. Walking trails are paved.
Fresh floral arrangements throughout hotel made for a memorable experience. Provided by Square Root Inc (Irvine). Rose smells lingered, as did the ocean views from The Ritz resort—situated on a 150 ft. high bluff with a 180-degree view.

Please, stop serving coffee/tea in plastic cups! That’s a little bit too cheesy for the Ritz! Not to mention the fact it’s not ecological and not very healthy either! ❣️Americans❣️ wake up, stop drinking from plastic!!! Demand ceramic cups, glass and mugs everywhere you go! If Pete’s coffee and Hidden coffee (in SJC) can serve in ceramics, why not Ritz!!!
