This place is on another level. I went to eat here because it was recommended to me. At first, I had my doubts, but let me tell you, the place is amazing. The service is incredible, and the menu is very varied—something difficult to choose from.Decide now, because there are so many things that make you curious to try them. The food portions are huge but delicious. In short, if you’ve never been, you have to go, you won’t regret it, and the price is the least of your worries.It’s inexpensive, the place is very clean, and you feel comfortable when you’re there.

This is an old school joint with great breakfast food and huge portions at affordable prices. Got a big bowl of cream of broccoli wuth delicious fresh baked bread and butter, ginormous burger charred perfectly and chicken fried chicken with gravy n eggs. Portions were huge!! Breakfast Food was fresh and delicious. Had to edit my review after we tried the dinner menu tho … got what they said was homemade chicken kiev for $21 and it looked and tasted like a frozen kiev from the store. Also got a beef sandwich and it was not good. Tasted like Arbys crappy beef. Desserts were good and they have lots of options but would only return for soup, burgers or breakfast

Cream of chicken soup….the bomb YOU MUST TRY!!! Perfect time for soup! They have daily soup menu. Service great, staff extremely friendly. Prices reasonable. Soup is only 8n a bowl no cup but worth it!! They give you a sample of their homemade jam with your toast…YUMMY!

First time trying to restaurant; we always passed it on our way to and back from the mall down the street, but we never stopped to try it until today. I have to say that you get your money’s worth in more then one way, the service is great, the food was delicious, and you get a good amount of food so you will be having leftovers later. Again, the customer service was amazing, the waitress came back to check on us the whole time we were there. The coffee was really good; my mom is really picky when it comes to her coffee and she really enjoyed the decaf coffee here. I mean she finished her cup before I could even start drinking mine so that says a lot.
We had to try the pancakes, (if the pancakes are not good then why even offer breakfast right?) this place has some pretty good, soft, and decent size pancakes. we ended up splitting a stack of four between me, my mom, and dad. I will be back to try the other pancakes options that they offer.
I had the best Monte Cristo sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread they use was so good, there was a mountain of delicious meat, and the plenty of cheese. The only thing they needed was a tart strawberry or raspberry jam to go with it, but that’s just me. I added some of the smuckers strawberry jam they had on the table so I got my fix (I didn’t need it though).
My mom had the broccoli and cheese stuffed Tilapia with rice and diced steamed carrots. She really enjoyed it. You get a decent amount of fish.
My dad had the Chicken Philly sandwich with fries. It was a giant sandwich; he only eat half of it because it was a lot. They also give you a side of soup with the sandwiches so you will get full and have leftovers.

The place is a nice little diner for brunch. Waiters are extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. Food is good i usually have crepes and always the breakfast with coffee. They serve you enough your going to be full and have left overs. Not like Dennys ( they got so cheap with there portions) anyway its also affordable so if you dont want to break the bank and want a nice meal ill definitely recommend this place.

I just ordered 1/2 gallon of cream of chicken soup to go for my family and once we got home as we open the container it had a strong burnt smell and unfortunately it had a burnt taste as well. I did not feel safe feeding it to my 10month old daughter or family.
When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they insisted it was not burnt that this restaurant served top quality food and refused to acknowledge the issue at first then we ask to speak to the manager and after repeating ourselves they offered to replace the soup. As we are customers we loved coming here with our family for years now. But after the disappointment of tonight’s issue. I would not recommended coming in, if they treat their clientele like this, it just leaves a bad impression to even come back.
Mistakes can happen in any kitchen, but how they are handled matters. The lack of customer care made the experience disappointing. I hope the restaurant improves its quality control and listens more carefully to customer feedback.

Let me be clear, the service & staff were incredible! Our waitress was very nice & attentive, but the food at this location was TRASH! I’m sorry. I had the Belgium waffle, scrambled eggs, & turkey sausage, turkey bacon with a side of hash browns. My ol’ Lady had poached eggs, Canadian ham, pancakes wit hash browns. O. And we also ordered Mimosas. A regular orange juice for me, where she had the Tropical one. The hashbrowns were HORRIBLE! They tasted old like they had been sitting out and maybe just heated or cooked some more to your preference?! The waffle was bad too! Something about the syrup maybe or both! She didn’t like her food as well! None of it. She told me at the time that she “wanted to cry” & the man in me felt a way because now my lady ain’t feeling this meal I tried to nourish her with! Needless to say, perhaps other things on their menu might be good, but this breakfast food leaves less to be desired at this location & we’ll be staying at their other location on 95th in Hickory Hills! Again, staff was DOPE! Nothing against them and our waitress needs a raise!! But the food…. ‼️

I always pass by this restaurant & finally decided to try it out. It was very disappointing. The menu was so specific on what they used & that is what drew me in. When I got the Monte Cristo sandwich it was not the same bread they said they use & honestly so plain it made me nauseous. I ordered the pizza for my son & the dough still needed to cook inside. You can taste the frozen dough & the cheese was cheap. My husband got the Italian sausage & he didn’t even finish it. It was that bad. We walked out pretty disgusted not going to lie. Everything was mostly premade. Orange juice is not freshly squeezed. When I ordered the Frappuccino our waitress said they had no specialty drinks, but then said they did but it wasn’t cold? It just sounded like she didn’t want to serve me what I wanted. I paid $50 for food that was not worth that price at all. Not sure how they have so many good reviews & always packed. The environment was depressing.

I ordered the skirt steak with sauteed onions and fresh grilled jalapenos medium to well done. It was fantastic! Eggs were cooked okay. Pancakes with blueberry topping were also excellent! Best pancakes around town! Hash browns very, very lightly seasoned though, generously portioned. In the past months I’ve had the breakfast skillets which were also wonderful!!! Definitely recommend for breakfast!!!
