Great overall atmosphere and cool spot to grab quick bite w friends or family while watching a game. Good choice of appetizers and full entrees. Food had good flavor but came out like warm. Have been here multiple times and would likely come back. Chicken tenders and wraps and usually a safe bet. Salads and sushi are popular choices as well.

Was busy today, and our waiter had a lot of tables to get to. The burgers were really good and we also ordered the 42 oz drink. We had the Blue Lagoon and it wasn’t sugary or flavorful. You get to keep the plastic cup and the duck, which is nice. All the burgers were very flavorful and juicy, I recommend any burger that is on the menu.

This was such a cool restaurant right on the water. It was a nasty rainy day so we sat inside but they had a beautiful deck also. They had so many uplifting and remarkable decor! And the food was delicious! I highly recommended the fish n chips and the fish tacos! Gratuity is included on the check
Service was incredibly slow! It was busy and as a server I understand that we can only be one place at a time but she did not care that she was providing crappy service and that’s what I disliked. No urgency or apology.

Visited the Grumpy Monk for lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and huge. The drink were great and the fried pickles were awesome. The amount of food for the price was great.
Loved the atmosphere inside and out and our server Amber was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

Everyone got their food but one person. They actually ordered sushi. I had to have someone get our waiter to buy ask for the forgotten food. Im sure the sushi was ready first. The waiter was attentive and was on our refills. Most of the everyone’s food was good. Not sure if I’d come back or not. We did get seated immediately and didn’t have to wait.

I come to Myrtle Beach every year at least once or twice and this was my favorite meal that I had on this trip. I went Sunday night around 9 pm. I wish I could remember my server’s name because he was amazing and was one of the best I’ve had in a long time (want to say he had blondish/longer hair). The food was delicious and was looked so appetizing. Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had (buffalo chicken sandwich). Prices were actually pretty affordable considering you get to eat on the water and in MB. Will definitely be back next time.

We visited The Grumpy Monk on a Saturday night in July around 9pm. I know it was a busy night but the restaurant was pretty dirty, and that was disappointing. There were napkins all over the floor in the bathroom hallway right as you walk into the restaurant. We came in anyway and ordered a BLT on Gluten Free bread and a coke. The sandwich was DELICIOUS! The service was GREAT! But the value was a little disappointing too. The sandwich and coke cost us $30.
