Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Reviews
I am writing to formally report a service issue from a recent visit to one of your locations and to request that the matter be reviewed under Whataburger’s employee Code of Conduct.
(The employees photo is attached)
I was served a burger that was completely cold. When I respectfully brought this to the attention of the employee on duty, my concern was dismissed and no effort was made to correct the issue or involve a manager.
This response demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and adherence to basic customer service standards.
I believe this behavior warrants review under your employee Code of Conduct, as it reflects a failure to appropriately address a valid customer concern. I am requesting that management investigate this incident and take any corrective or disciplinary action deemed appropriate to ensure this does not happen again.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
That was the last straw. I left feeling like I had escaped a scam situation.
I got a double cheeseburger meal with fries and a drink and got the regular ketchup as well as their spicy ketchup for the fries. The first thoughts from the burger was that it was heavy on mustard. I personally enjoy mustard so that wasn’t a big deal for me but if you don’t…order it lite or on the side. I ended up dipping both the burger and the fries in the spicy ketchup by the end of it. I enjoyed the flavor of the spicy ketchup a lot but depending on your tolerance, you may not find it very spicy. I found it to have zero heat personally. The fries were crispy and tasty, definitely salted but not to the point that it was too much. They also had zero sugar lemonade and unsweetened iced tea so I was able to make a no sugar Arnold Palmer and that made me happy.
I’d stop here again for sure. THIS Whataburger location – Didn’t Suck!
Received a small banana pudding shake when I ordered chocolate.
Received a #1 large meal when I ordered just the sandwich (drink not pictured).
They at least got the onion rings right!
The fries, shake and onion rings were great. The burger was super dry. I could only eat about half of it before I gave up. I took a look inside and it had just diced onions and pickle slices.
Really disappointed with my experience. I’ve had Whataburger in Texas, Colorado and Tennessee but this Alabama Whataburger needs some help.
The restaurant was very clean. The restrooms, dining and drink area were all spotless.
Highly recommend stopping here if traveling through.
The best Whataburger in Alabama!
Other than the tension in the air from the obvious presence of Athens Georgia citizens in Tuscaloosa Alabama, it was a great experience.
The aforementioned beverages were strawberry and banana pudding shakes. Those two items were excellent and hit the spot.
The notable things about this location were easy access from the interstate, more than adequate parking, and extraordinarily clean inside!
The associate behind the counter was also polite and attentive.
We are hoping to get one of these in our town soon, but this experience confirmed for me the high quality reputation is well reserved!
