We drove 20 minutes to this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation.
Initially, the appearance of the restaurant was quite fetching and had a terrific Mexican vibe to it.
However, everything else was a bit of a disaster.
The bar area where we were sat was extremely noisy with loud Mexican music. So we moved to another table, that table had terrible seats. They actually seemed damaged with regards to the springs.
It says a lot, in a bad way, when the most flavorful and positive food experience with the free chips and salsa. They were on point.
The service, was a hot mess. There was no manager on duty and it showed. There were mistakes on my partners order that required two different redos.
The food itself, could have been hotter. Also the flavor was just average. It reminded me of a fast food Mexican restaurant like del Taco or El Pollo loco.

Absolutely terrible experience here on Valentines day. We put our name/number on the list. We sit in the entrance waiting area. We wait a suspiciously long time. I go in to check the list and see they called 4 groups that came in after us. I ask the host and he says “we called you.” And came off rude. He did NOT call me, or check the waiting area in the entrance hallway. The super tiny waiting area inside was packed. This is the second time thats happened here. Maybe he did call and it didnt go through, but this restaurant sits in a dead zone and theres no accessible wifi. At least make the wifi public before youre rude to patrons on Valentines Day. He tells me we are next. Then, he calls another group that came in after us for their table. I tell a different host that he said we were next and called someone else. She says the same “we called you”, also rude. I said no, you actually didnt. Finally were seated. Food was just absolutely terrible. The free salsa was the only good thing. Where was the flavor? Seasoning? Cheese was giving melted kraft singles. Thats coming from a white person too. I could make a better burrito blindfolded. The only somewhat good part of this experience was the very nice and super quick waitress. 5 visits here is enough to know I will never be back. We had our first date here and thought returning years later on V-day would be cute, definitely not. Basically being blamed for their mistake was so wild to me. Consider making the wifi accessible.

The building interior, service and decorations was nice as soon as I walked in. I was expecting to eat some hard to find, decent quality Mexican food, but to no surprise however, wasn’t anything special.
It’s like one of those old classic Mexican restaurants you see on American Television where families go and bring their kids. The seats are falling apart and probably haven’t done deep clean or maintenance since 1994.
1. The “Birria Tacos” were very greasy, soggy, and bland.
2. The rice and beans taste like they came from a can.
3. The menu is old and looks like it’s been reused since the 90’s
4. I feel like the cooks in the kitchen aren’t being managed correctly.
Maybe this place used to he better or I just caught the wrong kitchen staff, but it’s highly suspect I say, and that’s coming from a half Mexican from California who’s worked in kitchens. If you like this place, then you don’t know what real Mexican food is.

My husband and I had dinner and drinks at the bar on a Friday night. Karen was our bartender/server. She was very friendly and efficient. Guacamole tableside was great. My margarita was really good. Hubby had beer.
We ordered the fajita for two. Really yummy. Hubby is allergic to shrimp. We asked for it on the side, no problem. The meat was flavorful. I would have liked more veggies, but still yummy. Dinner was so plentiful we had for lunch the next day. Warm chips and salsa were great. Great first experience.

The guacamole was the best part of my meal. It was a little salty but still good. I ordered the carne asada tacos with rice and refried beans. The steak in the tacos was cold. My friend told the waiter and he stood there as if he was confused. My friend had asked if he could bring me some fresh ones, but I said that was ok. The carne asada didn’t have much flavor to make me want a new order in the first place. The beans and rice were good but you could taste the salt in the beans making them a little salty. I would try here at least one more time because every business can have an off night.

A friend recommend we try Plaza Azteca and that’s exactly what we did. The made the Guacamole right at our table and it was some of the best Guacamole I’ve ever had ¡¡¡¡ The prime rib tacos were also delicious right to the last bite¡¡ The Birria Tacos wete just as good¡¡¡¡ All in all I would recommend this spot for anyone who likes good food. Everything is reasonably priced and service was on poimt¡¡¡¡

Best Mexican food around the area!!! Me and my friend come here at least weekly and the food is always phenomenal. You gotta try their fresh guac. It’s the best you’ll ever have. Literally everything on the menu is absolute fire. Whenever we go, we’re in and out within 30 minutes This specific time me and my friend went to This establishment and was in and out within 14 minutes and you might think since it’s that quick that the food might be bland or whatever no they always seem to be consistent with their food no matter the time, which is fantastic. Best Mexican food around here definitely must try in your lifetime at least once.

Came back to this place after 4 yrs and glad I did. Food was delicious! I ordered the Mixed Fajitas. Meat was well seasoned and tender. Portion was very generous. We also ordered table service guacamole! Felt it was a bit pricey but overall it was very good. Chips and salsa were fresh.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were greeted right away. Bathrooms and restaurant was very clean.
