The best part of this hotel is this restaurant, but for some reason it’s windows are always covered and we were the only table there. The service was above and beyond. The bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar was delicious. As well as both caprese and burrata, they were all amazing. The pasta we not so much. But the beautiful talavera earthenware by Uriarte Talavera just made the dining experience much more enjoyable. I totally recommend anyone visiting Puebla looking for a good meal to stop by Cello.

Excellent Italian restaurant. We had our 14th anniversary here and it was awesome to eat here. As always the service was impeccable, they were extremely attentive to all of our needs. The rigatoni and pollo parmesano were excellent. The dessert torta al limone was also very delicious. We definitely will be back.

Absolutely delicious. The bread was delicious and all the dishes. The ambience of the restaurant is a mixture of elegance and rustic. The waitress Harumi gave us really good suggestions on what to order.

Do yourself favor and order the burrata sald before they remove it from menu. Pesto that comes with bread was very delightful as well. We loved our time and food experience here. Don’t expect the traditional Italian but do expect to go home feeling satisfied. I heard that they are expecting new chef soon so wondering how menu will switch up.
Restaurant is beautiful but there’s practically no view.
Talavera plates they use is high quality certified pieces and is an experience in itself to enjoy with the meal.

Food was decent but the service was extremely slow it ruined our meal. We ordered a cheese pizza for our daughter from the kids menu and the server ordered a 4 cheese pizza from the regular menu (honest mistake) but he wouldn’t admit the mistake took a bit of prodding to order correctly. At the end of the meal the printer wasn’t working to give us our receipt. We figured it would be left with front desk since we were staying at the hotel. But at 10:30pm the server called our room and woke us up and was insisting to bring the bill right then. I advised him that was not going to happen and we would handle it in the morning. He then proceeded to call my mother in laws room and wake her up! This was such a poor experience.

I’m from the U.S., been all over Italy, and have had fantastic Italian food. Still, I almost can’t believe I’m saying it, but I think this was the best Italian I’ve ever had. Here’s the breakdown:
The bread was hot, fresh, and delicious, the pestos were easily the freshest I’ve ever tasted, the burrata with fig was perfect, and the La Zozzana and linguini were both cooked and seasoned excellently.
On top of this, the staff was fantastic and very friendly and our food came out quickly with each course.
I really couldn’t recommend this place enough. Skip your Mexican food for the night and go eat some Italian in Puebla. You won’t regret it.

An all-around great experience: delicious high-quality food and drinks; friendly and attentive service; elegant setting (in a truly stunning hotel). One of the more memorable meals I’ve had in Mexico.

Terrible! Not authentic Italian at all, the pasta carbonara was not even close to carbonara, the pizza was frozen pizza at best, service was excruciatingly slow. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
