Yesterday my boyfriend celebrated my birthday here and we had an amazing experience. The food, the view, and the service were all outstanding. We sat outside to watch the sunset — beautiful!
We started with fried calamari, then he had the filet mignon and I had the sea bass with sweet plantains. Everything was delicious. Our server was super friendly and gave us excellent recommendations.
Also, the bathrooms were spotless — very clean and well maintained.
Highly recommend!

Loved this place though it was a Monday night the vibe was pretty decent. Attended a holiday dinner event and we were all very happy with the food and overall experience. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was sooooo delicious perfectly done. Crabcakes were also really good. Bread pudding dessert was fan favorite!! Views from here are breathtaking but it was a pretty windy stormy night so we could not enjoy outside. Service was also superb. Thank you very much as sometimes a big group is hard to handle but we were all very happy

We ordered a **board with 3 dishes**, and I was so impressed with the **amount and quality** of the food. Everything came well-served, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented.
For starters, we had **oysters and octopus**, and they were **spectacular**! Fresh, flavorful, and prepared to perfection — the kind of bite that instantly tells you you made the right choice.
It was a complete experience: delicious food, generous portions, attentive service, and a perfect setting.
**I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back many more times!**

Rusty Pelican is a standout destination for sunset, equally enjoyable whether you’re with family, friends, a partner, or dining solo. The waterfront setting offers breathtaking views and one of the finest perspectives of the Miami skyline. During happy hour, food portions are smaller and meant for sharing, while maintaining excellent quality and flavor. The cocktails are exceptionally well crafted and delicious. Reservations are highly recommended, especially around sunset. Happy hour is available from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. Valet parking is available for $10. Keep in mind that traffic can be heavy during peak hours. After crossing the Biscayne Bridge, take the first left and then continue straight all the way to the end of the road to reach the restaurant.

The restaurant is located at the water and you have an excellent view of the Bay and the skyline. Interiors is beautiful but food wasn’t the best. Has a lot of room for improvement.
Server was nice. Starters (sushi, salmon tartar, calamari) was ok but not a wow. Had it much better in other places. My son’s filet steak was chewy and the fish was a bit tasteless on a bed of sweet potato mix which reminded me of children’s food ( the one in the cans). My server told me my chicken breast would come with mashed potato as a side but it came with nothing only a few vegetables. Unfortunately it came cold. They took it to re-heat it but by the time it came back the chicken looked very dry and the others finished eating. So I wouldn’t eat it. They took it off the bill but came back to the hotel hungry. The wine was good but overall it was rather disappointing because I expected excellent food.

My husband and I went to The Rusty Pelican to celebrate my birthday. Our server Akosh was friendly and attentive all whilst training a new employee. His knowledge of the product and recommendations left a lasting impression. He also took time at the end of his shift to ensure we got pictures to commemorate the special occasion without making me feel like I was being rushed. The meal was opulent, exquisite and filling. I will recommend this spot to my friends and am excited to return sometime in the future.

We spent New Year’s Eve enjoying a five-course menu. The atmosphere was the highlight, with stunning views of downtown Miami and the fireworks. The food was served on time and met expectations except the VIP nigiri
My only complaint was that the outdoor heater ran out of gas and the staff never replaced the tank. The temperature was around 50°F, and the wind made it feel even colder. For the amount of money we spent, we expected top-notch service.
