Two Podners Restaurant

I don’t like giving bad reviews, but I have to be honest with my experience. Myself, and my Co-workers came here to get something to eat last week. I haven’t been here in awhile, and the green beans had a spoiled smell to it alone with the greens . I do appreciate the cashier allowing us to exchange it for something else, and I got the spaghetti lunch special, and all together with the drink it was about $19. The spaghetti, mashed potatoes was really good, and the customer service was great very cool Morning CREW.

Second time here and I ordered the catfish again. They are pretty big in size, crunchy and the fish was hot and flaky! Both macaroni and mashed potatoes where good too. I got the fruit punch but couldn’t finish it. Too sweet for me but everyone has different tastes. I’m glad I work close by because I’ll be going back often!

I use to love two ponders. I ordered from them a lot when I lived downtown in 2018 but lately when I order them, I never get the correct items on my order through DoorDash and the peach cobbler is so bland. It has absolutely no sweetness to it. My order today came with no utensils no barbecue sauce and peach cobbler so Bland I couldn’t even eat it

This was my first time visiting this place and it did not dissapoint. I got the 2 filet catfish basket with black greens and yams +plus a piece of cornbread + medium drink for 20$
The fish was so good, crunchy, not over-seasoned 10/10

This is a great value for the amount of food I recieved. Ill be back to try more sides, everything looked so good!

The store was also super clean and organized.

First time coming to this wonderful place! The food is fantastic and the customer service is excellent! I will definitely recommend my plate was good and I had ordered sliced beef with the side of mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. Also, the little cup of banana pudding was amazing! This place is one of the best places for Soul Food!! The portions and ultimately the taste is off the charts good! I ordered the pork ends and gravy over mashed potatoes with greens and a roll, my son ordered the same but with a roll and my husband ordered catfish, black-eyed peas and okra. Let me tell you, this is REALLY good!

Try it for yourself! You won’t be disappointed!

This is the worst “barbecue” I’ve EVER HAD. $20 rib plate for there to be barely any meat on the bones. I took one bite of the greens and spit them out. The macaroni is horrible. The side portions aren’t even 1/4 cup. Do not waste your time or money.

Always enjoy coming in and chatting with the folks working and meeting new people while standing in line. Food was great and plentiful. Will be indulging in that famous peach cobbler next time!

Food is way to expensive $70 wow. Didn’t know spaghetti was $17 on my mammy it’s dry. Lil chitterlings cup dang near $20 and $36 oxtail only no rice. ROBBERY NO GUN

OMG $30 for what⁉️
THIS IS NASTY‼️‼️
I ordered a two meat combo with ribs & turkey (processed turkey meat) also the greens taste like it’s from a can and very vinegary and the red beans had no flavor.
PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. There is no soul in this food… NEVER AGAIN
