My friend tells me this is the best pizza in all of Tidewater! So I finally got to try it and can honestly say they do make a good pizza pie. This isn’t a secret. In the time we were enjoying our lunch 6 other parties came in and had pizzas brought to their tables as well. The outdoor seating area was inviting (but it was a bit breezy so we ate inside). The interior decor is traditional bar material with lots of wood grain and mirrors. There was plenty of seating and the appetizers were big enough for 4 people to share.

Large dining area if you have a large party to accommodate. Game room for kids. Menu is too large and seems most of it comes from can. I ordered meatloaf and the green beans were literally poured directly from the can, not warmed or seasoned at all. Meatloaf was average and a small portion compared to some of the other items that had huge portions. My daughter got spaghetti marinara with sauce that looked like it had canned sauce and it was 18.95 with no meatballs or anything. Server was really nice tho. Really dated dining room, you can tell it hasn’t been updated in a couple decades at the least.

My brother is a coach asked his wife where we could take him. She told me how much he loved azalea inn. We went there and we enjoyed the food the service and the atmosphere. It was my first time there. The pizza was hot fresh and delicious.

The pizza is top shelf. The pork tenderloin, and lasagna are also great. The bar and restaurant are connected but far enough away that the cheers from what ever sporting event don’t interfere with a relaxing meal.

I have been craving a pastrami sandwich and finally a restaurant that has it on their menu. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The service was also the best I have received in a long time. Kudos to this restaurant for hiring and training their servers to be friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back. The tiramasu was yummy and so was the baklava. Although the baklava was heated a touch too long which made it chewy. Still tasty though.

Their Greek Gyro is amazing. The owners son and nephew introduced themselves and we had a great conversation. The pizza is epic and always a crowd pleaser. This sports bar/restaurant is connected, but seperated by a proper wall. It is a local treasure. All the locals know and love it. ❤️

My food was scrumptious. Waitress was horrible. Never asked if i needed anything else water or if my food was good. I attempted a couple of times to grab her attention and she ignored me several times and just looked at me and walked away. I had to ask another waitress for parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes for my pizza. I was provided 5 cents of service and provided a tip of .05 cents. I have never had this poor service at this place.

I visited this place for lunch with family and overall it was fairly good. The food could have used a bit more seasoning overall and the nachos were somewhat disappointing. The burger that I personally had was fairly tasty, if not a bit messy. I’ll definitely come back to try something else though.

The food here is normally very good, this time there were some issues. One of our pizzas got sent to the wrong table. When it finally arrived it was over-baked and tough. The pizzas that came out on time were not exactly as we ordered. Our server made up for the irregularities with discounts and a free pizza to take home, which was made and cooked perfectly. This restaurant is pretty noisy inside, lot of loud conversations. Good place to meet with friends, not so good for a cozy date.

The server acted like she did not even want to be there. She only checked on us once. I ordered the zucchini fraud appetizer and it tasted nasty freezer burnt. I also ordered the greek salad.It would have been nice if they told me that the olives still had the pit in them because I thought I broke my tooth. My son ordered the shish kebab, but it was just meat and vegetables piled up on a plate. He did say it tasted good. The pizza is amazing.
