This was my first experience and let me tell ya…just WOW!!! I had their eggs benedict with home made hollandaise sauce, absolutely hands down the best I ever tasted!!! The portion was 2 large eggs (seriously I could have easily eaten 4-5 haha) with peameal bacon on a toasted english muffin and homefries made for a hearty breakfest. My Wife had a simple egg, bacon and homefries while our daught ordered choclate chip pancakes (3 bug ones came in the order) so everyone was full!!! Their coffee was great too, it’s bottomless which is always plus. If you want an excellent breakfast spot in Fort Erie this is the place to come!!! Oh and fyi, tell them to sell that hollandaise sauce as I’d for sure be buying it from their 100%!!!

Great little diner! The outside is a little rough-and-tumble but the staff and food are excellent. Best peameal bacon I’ve had. The food is made by someone who actually cares about what they are making and it shows. Waiter was friendly, attentive, and accommodating.

We were in Fort Erie today to visit our son. He said he’d heard of this diner that was supposed to be very good but he’d never been there. So that’s where we went. The North End Diner. What a lucky break for us. We loved it there. I had the most incredible breakfast called the Hat Trick. The best breakfast I’ve had in years. Sarah, who took care of us was really really nice.
Strongly recommend the North End Diner! Just a heads up though they only take cash.

Came in today to try their breakfast and can say I will definitely be back. A classic breakfast spot with good food and personable service. I ordered the hat trick which was fairly priced for the amount of food. I will say, stick with the home fries over the dollar fries! Thank you ladies for the welcoming service!

The North End Diner is a quiet little spot in Fort Erie’s old downtown. From what I understand, they are under relatively new ownership as well. The diner has a casual feel where people can go and enjoy.
Clearly this is a busy location where lots of people go. It was bustling when we arrived around 10am on a Saturday for brunch.
We tried the chicken shawarma breakfast and the 2 egg breakfast with sausage. Both were pretty good. The chicken shawarma came with added toppings which was nice.
Overall I chose to give this place 3 stars because they only accept cash (its 2021 – what is that?) and their ATM for getting cash was out of order. Its understandable for the tech issues but there isn’t adequate signage about being cash-only nor were we told when we arrived. There is a tiny sign when on the corner of the door when you ever and it is rather ambiguous. The other reason I felt it wasn’t a 5 star place was because the server just wasn’t attentive enough. It was very frustrating to not get your check or not get another refill of coffee.
Hoping that next time it will be better and I will update this then.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Sara and Dustin were so friendly and the food was delicious fresh and made with so much love. I definitely recommend this hidden gem and will be back soon to try the other items on the menu.

A friend and I were looking for a nice place for breakfast after spending the night in Fort Erie. We were very happy with the food and service we received at the North End Diner.
The service was friendly and prompt. And the food was great.
